As a guy, you have this girl you want to spend the rest of your life with. You are doing everything humanly possible to make sure you both have a “future” together. Now you want to move things further by asking the big question and you are confused on how to go about it. Don’t worry because this post is just for you! Here are some tips on how to propose to your lady.

1. The guy has to get in touch with the girls parents and ask for their permission and blessing. This is very important because no blessing equals no marriage. You don’t want to start a family without the consent of your wife’s parents.

2. When that has been done, you should meet up with her best friend. You can say that you know her very well but trust me, you can’t know her more than her friends! Her friends would know her best food, best colour, what she likes, what she hates, what to do when she is angry and so on. You can meet up with her when you want to buy the ring.

3. The next thing is to start making plans with her friends. Like I said earlier, her friends know her more than you do. So you want to involve them when you are planning for the proposal. They will be able to tell you if it is a good time or not to save you from embarrassment.

4. Then her friends will find the perfect time to lure her to the venue. Now note that you have to be ready for anything, because the day you want to propose to her she might have work or be very busy and might not be able to come out. So you have to work with her time and whenever she’s free or less busy.
NB: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE BLESSING OF HER PARENTS BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. Please make sure you get it. You don’t want to have the whole mother-in-law drama!
5. Pick a day when she’s totally happy. Make sure she doesn’t have any angry bone in her that day. Take her to places she will love to be the most. Don’t make it too obvious. Try to be natural!
6. Make it a day she will forever remember. Make the scene so beautiful that she would not even forget the slightest detail. Make sure you film everything because she would love to see her own reaction, but do not make it obvious.
