What a great writer. May he continue to rest in peace. The way he describes the characters is so out of this world

JHC my initiation into novel reading, so intriguing, after reading a munch my hunger for novels increased. He had the right concept, not voluminous, easy to read and comprehend and most of all, attractive covers, if u know what I mean!
Yes I know what you mean, attractive covers with sexy women, that cover always put me in trouble had to wrapped it with newspaper anytime I get hold of it

Those are my favourite JHC books.

I've owned up to 70.Lucky me, they are pretty cheap grin
Looking at that list, I think I have read almost all.

How does one person write so many books? Or are they short stories?

An inspired writer who was said to have barely traveled to the US yet most of his scenes were in the US.

A high IQ person, it has to be said...

As a young man I loved reading that guy books,I was surprised to mention it to a lot of people in Europe and many don't know him and never heard of him.

He was a great fictionist,I always wanted to carry out operations based on his ideas,Thank God I didn't,I probably would have ended up in jail.

Brings back golden memories. The James Hadley Chase and Nick Carter Eras.
Those great days when you were Top Gun among your mates if you had any of these Thrillers.
I read almost all JHC listed.
I carefully looked out for " This way for a Shroud" on OP's listed titles but didn't see it. That title is one of JHC rare copies, and rank as one of my best of his books.
The way the Cookie Crumbles.
Safer Dead.
Coffin From Hongkong, and all Titles that feature Tom Lipsky were my favorites
James Hadley is arguably one of the best of his times.

Mario Puzo. Jeffrey Archer, Leon Uris, Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown are the Masters of Thrillers now.

You were an ardent JHC reader to depict these 2fact about " This way for a Shroud" and " Mallory".

Mallory was so boringly different that I was almost certain he didn't write it.
The write badly twisted the story he ended up confusing himself ( not me)
I once read an article that suggested that there were 2 other writers that wrote under the JHC label. I bought the narrative to some extent.
