But, even at that, it wouldn't be a logical comparison. Game protagonists are generally upscaled because, you'd have to win, right? If Thor was upscaled for a game protagonist he would be fighting gods too and unless they wanna stop at one game, he has to win.
More so, if Kratos was scaled to fit in a CU he wouldn't be as OP as he was in games.

However, let's say it's war and Nigeria are Using one while US are using the other. We'd have to take their strongest version and Kratos is a moth to Old King Thor, not to talk of Rune King Thor.

Bottom line, it does not make sense to compare game characters to CU characters.

PS: Of course Kratos would defeat Thor in the upcoming sequel to the GOW series. It's called GOW not Thor. Kratos or his son, whoever it is would still be a Kratos product.

Exactly the point I made to some noobs who said Kratos was stronger than the whole lineup of Mortal Kombat 9. It's subjective. He wins because the plot requires it. If Liu-Kang has to beat him to save Earthrealm, then Liu will spank that Spartan a55.
