Let them make it fair, so as even those who lost will be happy going home.
They must work together to save Nigeria form the clutches of terror and tribalism

"" I'm not sure he has the political structure outside his state ""

He needs PDP political structure to win outside his state.

""PDP would sell destruct after their primaries because the gladiators are not people who believe in fair play they'll all pay delegates and cheat, I expect to see more defections""

Stop foooooling ur self, No one from PDP is decamping to APC. Of kwakwanso Tambuwal or Saraki lose the primaries, They will go back to their governorship n senatorial positions.

PDP is back, Even Obasanjo is back to PDP. The party can only get stronger between now and Feb 2019. If u want to expect defections, Expect it from APC.

"" corruption allegations (that have never been formalised) hanging on his shoulders""

Where do u get these useless assertions from, Atiku will beat buhari in 2019 one they square up against each other. If buhari could win any election in Nigeria, Na Atiku wey no go win?

Atiku will win a good amount of votes in northern Nigeria but will receive massive block votes from SE n SS, Which is something Buhari will never get. Atiku will also get votes from SW, Possibly 50% and with This he will surely win.

Okay Mr Analyst we'll wait and see.

I never said those rascals would decamp back to APC I doubt they'll ever be allowed back in. They have showed their hand in this political game way too early.
What if Buhari drops dead tomorrow either of them could have had the APC ticket

APC will quickly allow dem back in and crown them with sainthood, This is Nigeria and not Spain or France.

Of buhari drop dead, Osinbanjo will automatically become president n run for office in 2019.

Then the real northern decamping from APC to PDP will kick in grin

And have Atiku, Saraki and Tambuwal talked about that?

What did PDP do in the last 16 years to give us restructuring, true federalisim, etc? (And don't mention Jona's confrence that took secession off the table from the word go).?

And what is true federalisim.? Is it that the whole South South or South East and South South, or the whole South benefits from oil, while the North and Middle Belt can go and rely on agriuculture?

And why talk about true federalisim, when we still have corrupt people at all levels?

And by the way....which government, PDP or APC has talked about the real issue bothering Nigeria.....which is the fact that our economy is not producing stuff the world needs...and generating jobs as a result....yes what agenda does PDP or APC or any party have about that?

Your problem is the same as the sai barber people. You guys want an arrangement about sharing money. You don't want to develop Nigeria. You want to share money. Well....that is not how real life is...and the sooner we stop thinking that there is a national cake to be shared, the better.

We need a change in this country. And it starts by taking the hard decsion to become a manufactruing country, not a sharing and sharing country.
Brilliant, someone who really gets it! Nigerian politics for the last 48 years has been dominated almost entirely by rent-seeking, i.e. who gets to say the oil is "theirs", and how big a share each faction gets to steal. That's why one sees every group crying out "Our turn! Our turn!" even though when their "kinsman" gets into office, there is never any tangible benefit to the vast majority of "his/her" people; if Nigerian politics were really about the quality of governance rather than about whose turn it is to "chop" from a "national cake" that no one worked for (since nobody's ancestors went and put said oil into the ground), people wouldn't care so much about having "their turn" instead of choosing a leader with sensible plans and a proven track record.

The great irony of Nigerians' obsession with sharing oil rents is that in the interval during which we've gone from 70 million people fighting over revenues from 2 million barrels a day to 200 million fighting for the same number of barrels (and at lower real prices than the 1970s), entire new fortunes have been built from nothing by innovators in other countries, and without any government help: a single company like Apple Computer didn't even exist in 1970, and now it's worth more than $1 trillion, a sum beyond the wildest dreams of any Nigerian government, and the same is true of Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Facebook, all of which are now worth over $500 billion each!

Nigerians need to wake up. Real wealth is the product of human creativity and sweat, not about collecting 50% taxes on white men who come and find minerals beneath soil one is living on, otherwise Japan and South Korea would be amongst the poorest countries on earth, while Nigeria and the Congo would be amongst the richest. We simply can't afford to waste another 40 years chasing after the same stagnant pot of petrodollars, even as our population continues to explode.

If Buhari drops dead Osinbajo would not get the ticket. If he does it would be through consensus which would be supported throughout all geo zones.

As is Osinbajo, burning doubt he'll then go on to contest election in 2019. If he does it would be because of strong party consensus which would have few to no objection

GEJ was not a politically unknown , he had been the assistant governor and governor not a state at the time he came into national politics. What he didn't have was his own structure to speak of.

GEJ can not stand next to prof Osinbajo in the area of intellect and political sagacity
