Reports suggest that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is set to make a decision on whether the club should launch a late move for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.

Chelsea lost 2 nil to Manchester City, and the team’s performance on the day showed that the side needs some major reinforcements before Thursday’s deadline.

Chelsea finished 5th on the log last season, and aim to do better this season. However, they’ve only signed Jorginho and Rob Green since the arrival of Sarri this summer.

Wilfried Zaha has carved a niche for himself at Selhurst Park having played almost 150 games for the club.

Zaha was impressive for Crystal Palace last season and reports suggest that the player is in favor of a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Crystal Palace are reluctant to sell their star man so close to the deadline, and the player is valued at £70 million.

Daily Mail have suggested that Chelsea will make a decision on Zaha during a transfer meeting at Stamford Bridge between Sarri and the chiefs at the club.

The Italian will meet with Chelsea chiefs this week to discuss potential signings and Zaha will be at the top of the agenda as reports have suggested.

Zaha can be a direct replacement for Willian who has been heavily linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge this summer.
