I love this. The op has done well But permit me to extend this write up to the Females too. Self development shouldn't be restricted to Men only while Women remain at the Receiving phase. Women too should learn to be what they want in Men. They should strive to be successful, Attractive, Intelligent, Cool,Calm,Collected , Independent and finally more Logical.

Men are always improving themselves because that's the only way their gene will be passed to the next generational rounds. No woman wants a male (in a biological sense), but a man (self-accomplished). A woman may improve herself, but even if she did not, her value to men and society lies in what is naturally given to her (beauty, femininity, fertility, nurture). Women are rewarded for being beautiful, and they know this, hence, many will rather look beautiful than develop themselves. Men knows that they are rewarded by being resourceful, hence, they make money than being beautiful.

It is the mindset that men and women are the same, that makes thought like yours comes up. Regina Daniel's value to Ned Nwoko is not because she "improved" herself, men are not interested in women's money, but her youthfulness, ability to bear his child, and natures gift of beauty to her. From the impressive mane of a lion to the flamboyant feather of a peacock, or the gallant horn of a goat, they have all evolved to be beautiful as the female eliminated the ugly ones.
