Does that one looks like yoruba man? He is just bearing yoruba name. He an agbero. A garage man. Yoruba use to call his type alagbe. And more so he is an illiterate. I think he was a former Ogunde's dancer. He a comic actor. Yoruba is not ready for such alawada kerikeri in the government house 4 Likes |

Shukazu: Osun 2018: Osun traditional ruler endorses Oyetola By Gbenga Olarinoye, Osogbo The political aspiration of the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, received a boost yesterday after the Boripe Local Council threw its weight behind his aspiration. He has every right to speak his mind perYoruba issues and interests and Traditional rulers and council in Osun state did the same thing. They know the PDP very well, their interests are always selfish, looting and stealing inerest 3 Likes |

Mynd44: Biko help me ask them...a Traditional title holder is not supposed to be "openly"endorsing a particular Candidate knowing full well that all are still his Subordinates, but i am not surprised, if Oba Akiolu of Lagos can do it during the last 2015 general election, who is Gani not to follow such ugly step. |

MrImole: So it's convenient for you to say Fayemi prepared the ground for none payment of salary by fayose despite his (fayose) collection of several intervention funds from APC led FG but you people are quick to heap ineptitudes on Buhari despite inheriting an empty purse from the past government!! So who is Zombie in this scenario? At the fullness of time you people will embrace reality. 2 Likes |

HzRF: At the final campaign rally of APC that PMB reeled out the activities of FG in Ekiti state, was his claims controverted by the garrulous fayose? So don't ask me what benefits has been accrued to either Ekiti or southwest as a whole; do a bit of research on it. 4 Likes 1 Share |

deomelo: Election don reach now everybody don remember em own tribe interest. Nigeria can't move forward with this type of thinking. There's no Nigerian interest. Since there is no Nigerian interest another tribe(Igbo) is saying let's break out and the same people supporting Yoruba interest are calling them names Some people might say the thoughts of those on nairaland are insignificant but truth is Nairaland is the voice on the street Or the voice of paid politicians maybe. Just read the comments of all the contributors here almost all have tribal sentiment written over it. Yorubas hate Obasanjo because they feel he didn't do anything for you ( was he the president of Yoruba land or Nigeria) South South / South East don't like Jonathan because he didn't do much for ( is he the president of South South or Nigeria) Nigeria is not one Final note if you support Yoruba interest and you insult IGBO for saying we should break up you are a bastard. Thank you. |

His position will now be regarded as enemy of the progress but the time he was disrupting public peace around 7up, lagos during 2015 election in favor of the PDP, he's a nice and sain character..... 1 Like 1 Share |

karlboss: To start with, this is not about Nigeria or a national election, this is about a state and local election in the SW state of Osun and issues affecting the state of Osun the SW. Are the people in the SE/SS/North going to vote in the Osun election based on issues affecting the people in the SS/SS/NORTH? OBJ as the president of NIGERIA sabotaged and neglected the SW and as serious electorates, your first concern and litmus test per any candidate local or National should always be about the candidate's interest and capacity to look out for your region, your people and issues facing your communities. This is why presidential candidates visit every region and their traditional rulers to issues promises to do the things the people in that particular state or communities long for, including government programs and policies designed to better their local communities. Lagosians don't have stable electricity today because OBJ sabotaged their effort all because of politics and hatred and lack of care and concern when it comes to the interest of the people of Lagos. Sabotaging the first IPP in Nigeria, a strong model for stable electricity in Nigeria was one of OBJ's many sins against the SW and Nigeria in general. Only foolish people relegate their own local interest just to vote for and elect people with a history of gross incompetence, lack of care and interest, especially the PDP in the state of Osun. Osun people are talking about Osun election and issues affecting the people of Osun, come back with your National issues in 2019. 4 Likes |

karlboss: I believe if Ibo is able to push its break-out moves and consciously avoid insulting Yoruba in the process of doing so I see no reason why Yoruba would care if you go or stay. What benefit is it to Yoruba if you stay? None. What benefit is it to Yoruba if you go? None. Your issue is you idealize confrontation as a means for separation but lessons of past has taught you not to confront Hausa/Fulani so you see Yoruba as a easy target to hurl insults and abuses on as you agitate the separation. Yoruba on the other hand has also learnt that to ignore your noise is not in its best interest, so it returns fire for fire. In all the years you have been agitating separation you have never ever directed your anger and frustration at Hausa/Fulani, even though Arewa is your tormentor and threat to survival. 5 Likes |

karlboss: There's a clear distinction between ethnicity and capacity to defend, protect and promote Yoruba interest. The fact that I'm Yoruba doesn't mean I know how to promote Yoruba instrest and Yoruba culture or even how to promote programs and policies needed to advance Yorubaland and Yoruba people. Ambode in Lagos state passing a Yoruba language bill was Ambode promoting and protecting YORUBA interest and culture. Must we spell this out to you like elementary school kids? This is self-explanatory. 2 Likes |
