On the contrary, work on your own mind. I don't get depressed seeing other families happy but there are people wishing for those kind of stuffs and don't get them so seeing such pictures are constant reminders of their 'failures'. Seeing other families happy is not making them depressed but thinking of their own circumstances and how they wish to be like those families is what gets them depressed. Alas, if only they could go behind the scenes to see what happens, they'd be grateful for what they've got. That's what my short comment meant.

We dont appreciate what we have until we lose it.

But l am even more concerned about 'the next tragedy'.
Each time this sort tragedy happens, we all rush and "call names" here and there but no one is actually interested in what triggers (make) such obviously "happy family" (father appears, from these pictures, to be a loving husband, dotting fathers, successful and hard working, comfortable family, e.t.c) turn into a crime scene, and the husband into a murderer of the people most dear to him in this world?

Something certainly have happened.
What happened?
How can we recognise the signs early enough, when it is just germinating?
How can we nip it in the bud and prevent a reoccurence in other families?

These are the important elements that we should learn, from such horror stories because they keep hapenning over and over again.
