Hi Guys, please I need guidance. I ran a scan on my car and came out with the codes below. P0420 TOYOTA - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1 P0128 TOYOTA - Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature I would appreciate a guide on how to fix the error codes. I don't want trial and error things with the mechanic as I just want to tell him what to replace and get my car back. |

Inspect your catalytic converter. If bad have it changed. Your mecho must have removed thermostat. Have it fixed back 1 Like |

Make plans to change your catalyst. Does your fan run when ignition is on without starting the vehicle? Do you have coolant in your cooling system and not just water? Has your thermostat been removed? With the second code. You will be running rich. Repairs should be well advised. Get a competent tech to carry out corrections. Either of these codes won't stop your car like right now |
