So, the person in the video is me - Daniel Damilola Nejo.
The video was shot in the Notting Hill Carnival In London, my friend was creating the video for Snapchat as we were dancing and having a good time. And I looked at him and said “I will take her to Nigeria”...Jokingly. The girl’s reaction was crazy! She was shocked and ran away due to experiences she has had of her friends with Nigerians.

The video was first posted in my Instagram https://instagram.com/p/BnBbssGhdkB/ before it got picked by instablog9ja and the likes and went viral!

Even though the video is "funny", it has a deeper meaning and this is what I have been preaching and creating content about on my blog (https://ThePresidentialHustle.com) and my page.

Her reaction, even though she didn't mean any harm, was embarrassing to me and I could have reacted in a bad way or tried to "prove myself" as a "good Nigerian" but I chose not to take it personal because I know who I am, I know my worth, am a godamn king and you'll be a fool to think everyone from a country are the same!

I don't have to prove myself. So, we laughed about it and actually had a chill time afterwards.

In retrospect, I remember when I created a video about Nigerian Internet fraudsters a.k.a "Yahoo Yahoo Boys" and how they have and are still giving Nigerians bad names around the world and how we need to stop putting them on a pedestal and start recognizing that they are doing more harm than good to us, the video also went viral and had upwards of 2.5million views. I got insulted, chastised and called a fool by tens and thousands of people for simply speaking the truth, this made me kind of loose hope in the mindset and value system of the average Nigerian.

Besides being stigmatized as fraudsters and cons, this video and the reaction from the girl made me realize that we also have a bad name and reputation with women overseas (Crazy thing is - I didn't even know this, I just found out after this video)

The punchline is this - Obviously, you cannot judge everyone from the behaviors of others but at the same token, if our reputation already precedes us as "Notorious Nigerians", it's our duty to ensure that we carry ourselves as Kings and Queens that we are and we put a shame to the stereotype and make people see a different light in Nigeria.

- Daniel Damilola Nejo.

Lol well I'm Australian n the way I see it is if U gonna give money straight out to someone U never met before getting to know them then it's your own fault U lose out. Same goes for grandma's marrying men young enuff to be their sons. I've been in long distance relationship with an Igbo guy four years. We built up trust but is still my own fault if I end up hurt.
