Pray tell me how I will understand you if we are not from the same the same tribe?. If we don't adopt a common language "Nigerian English" how will we communicate effectively? Do you know that it's now a recognized language bearing in mind the differences between it and foreign English, spoken by British, Americans and Australians. I understand your grievances but still I believe wee are in the process of redefining the good and discarding the bad. Will we have AMVA without technology? Have you forgotten that some living beings are buried to accompany dead kings, some fresh heads accompany traditional dancers, widows are even killed to escort their dead husbands, let me spare you the gory details of some evil cultures we practiced. Nevertheless, we have African art, folklore , language, moral conduct et al that we still maintain. In my opinion we are undergoing a redefinition of our culture, don't you think so?

I will definitely read those books and look into those links but wanted to point out that Sudan is the most homogeneous country in the world, 99.9% of the population speak the same native language but this has had no visible impact in uniting them. Krio has still not fostered unity in Sierra Leone. Africans are peculiar breed, preferring to live in small clusters like the Indians in the Amazon, any other living arrangement is met with hostility, towards each other. Even if Biafra is achieved, I doubt there will still be peace and development as you foresee
