Has any1 used any of these portable AC units,12000BTU in Nigeria? I know it works during summer in UK but not very sure how effective this would be in Nigeria, Any little help/info would do. Check the link below;

hello. i av a similar one at home, to be honest dont buy it for these reasons
1 its just 12000 BTU ( British thermal Unit) thats just 1 horse power.

2 it covers only 12-15 metre square.

3 fixing of it is tiring because the window design abroad is not same with the one we use here.

4 you will be draining water every now and then.

5 spare parts are not available.

Thanks alot for your comment, but it does not need to be fixed on any window, it is just as mobile as water dispenser. check the link below to confirm if it is same with urs but I think I should stick to a common product as u guys pointed out.

How much is 1.5HP split unit of sharp, LG or samsung brand? any idea

it has to be fixed to the wall because it must have a duct for it to blow out hot air when it dehumidify.

i will advice u buy split Ac, but if u insist on the above u beta get a 24,000 BTU ( 2HORSE POWER). FOR SPLIT AIR CONDITIONER samsung or Hitachi is the best.
