This is utter rubbish if mynd44 pushes it to frontpage. Accredited newspapers have given a formal report of what happened, so Ipob or whatever their name is iss just trying to cover up the failure of their sit at home. These guys are constituting nuisance in the society. They should go back to the drawing table and come up with a plan to make this agitation a reality.... But if they continue with this stupid sit at home....they doomed to fail. |

I wonder why a group with massive followership can't commit their trusted member to an oath of instant death should he deviate in their agendan form a political party and send a member strongly under oath to national assembly, governorship positions, state assembly.....fill any damn position in igboland. It is not arguable, they have the number, people believes in them....and they will win......then why can't they just do something that can make them legally push their position to UN......... 1 Like |

I personally will cast my vote for any Ipob member to drive home this agitation....... 1 Like |

Juliusmalema: IPOB is not a political party, so why would they be seeking elective office? Joining the dirty world of Nigerian politics will mark the end of IPOB. People will see them as they see any other politician, rather than as freedom fighters. Had Nigeria been structured as Regions, then maybe IPOB might have decided to go after political positions in its region then conduct a referendum in that Region like Scotland did. But because Nigeria is structured as states, it would be impossible The only way IPOB can get a referendum is to keep agitating until the Nigerian National Assemmly decides that the people have shown by their numbers that the want to go, and grants them referendum. If the Nigerian National Assembly refuses to give them referendum, the agitation continues, even if it is for 200 years. 4 Likes 1 Share |

gidgiddy: Reading simply means they are not ready for anything serious.....coz no national assembly will even listen to u as far as u don't have a voice their to press ur demand home. If this ur assertion is that ipob is not a political party it means u guys ain't ready for anything serious. Happy agitation till 3039......... Am a realist and I view issues is realistic perspective. |

Juliusmalema: This is a long term project, continuous agitation until referendum is granted even if it will take 500 years. It is agitation that gave East Timor its independence from Indonesia, it is agitation that made South British Cameroon leave Nigeria in referebdum in 1961. God willing, the Igbo nation will one day get its referendum and we shall vote by at least 85% to be an independent country from the colossal disaster called Nigeria. 3 Likes |

gidgiddy: I fully now agree that Ipob has no vision and with them most members will be tired....trust igbos and when u begin to lose their patience, confidence and trust then their fall is imminent. They must have a voice in all politics of Nigeria to press their demand home. 1 Like |
