Salaries are workers right and not favour from one stupid head of state or governor. They worked for the money and deserve their pay. Is very shameful that you even owe salaries for one month. It kills my soul anytime I see somebody boosting about payment of 3month salaries out of 9months. Chai...sacrilege!!! 114 Likes 11 Shares |

Aregbesola is a murderer. that is osun state people knows him for. we will all see on September 22, that's liberation day for all of us. 49 Likes 3 Shares |

kolaaderin:I just dey observe jare, let me come and be going. the electorates that do participate mostly in osun state election are the ones that doesn't have access to light and water in their various homes. this is what Aregbesola promised in his second term in government, but he failed woefully in fulfilling that. Abeg where's the airport project he promised. Abeg tell me ooooooooooo. we are not based on twitter, nairaland comments. we votes based on what is ground and achievement of the candidate. the likes of you said alot of things here last year senatorial bye election, in all the credible candidate coast to victory. distinguished senator Ademola Adeleke was able to fulfilled his mandate to the people cos' of the projects he delivered to his senatorial district. this is what people see on ground and they are voting enmass for him. besides it's the turn of osun west senatorial district to produce the next governor of osun state. since 1999, they have not produced the governor and the deputy governor. this is not fair at all. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

Johnnyessence: such debates enrich the electoral process & democracy. such debates gives more room for elected officials to be held accountable beyond the rhetorics of public campaigns. such debates gives investors an idea of the direction a government might take & they prepare investments accordingly... now for you, you have been bullish on this election (just like you were on the ekiti election... in fact, I think all candidates you 'made noise for' lost their elections. lol.), but can you tell me what specific goals adeleke wishes to achieve if he becomes gov? I am not talking about the ones he makes at rallies. those are just general talks that can be denied later just like pmb has been doing.... 3 Likes |

Johnnyessence: on liberation, amen. but that doesn't stop adeleke for showing up for debates. as bad as aregbe has been, oyetola showed up, that is someone who is ready to tackle challenges... all adeleke had to do was show up & use all the 'evil' you have enumerated against aregbe, to tackle oyetola... to me, adeleke is a coward & has nothing to offer. 4 Likes |

From all indications, PDP is out of the race in Osun. It's between Omisore, Akingbade and Oyetola. Adeleke even with Davido as running mate wouldn't smell 2nd. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Many states in Nigeria are so poor that it will be wise that they first and foremost build a solid IGR from 1) direct and indirect Business/Investment ventures. 2) government seeded & watered Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) just as Joseph did in Genesis 47: 23 - 26. 3 Likes |

Johnnyessence: I believe the debate was not 'suddenly' scheduled. he must have known about it for a while & as such, should have made plans to attend... one of the key qualities of a good administrator, is time management. if you are close to adeleke, let him know that skipping key debates won't do him any good... the maximum number of people that will attend his rallies all over the state will be between 150,000 to 300,000... a national debate will allow him reach millions within & outside the state. 7 Likes |

I pity Osun people clamouring for Adeleke of the PDP. You better shine your eyes and avoid stories that touches the heart. A vote for Adeleke is like voting for more problems in the next 4 years. A man that cannot spell his name correctly 1 Like 2 Shares |

modulate /ˈmɒdjʊleɪt/ verb past tense: modulated; past participle: modulated 1. Exert a modifying or controlling influence on. "The state attempts to modulate private business's cash flow" Synonyms: regulate, adjust, set, attune, balance, harmonize, temper, modify, moderate "the cells modulate the body's immune response" Yeah.... Modulated is the best word for Osun State situation. Some salaries were cut by more than half. Some months were not paid at all (They called that one forfeiture). We know the number of civil servants that have lost their jobs as a result of downsizing in the Osun state work force. We know pensioners that died of hunger related complications when their entitlements were not paid. Osun state is just a bad example of what is happening in all the states of Nigeria. It is a bad example of the insensitivity of the ruling class in Nigeria. If our rulers have conscience, and are sensitive to the plight of the common man, I'd have reminded them of Senator Ben Hill's statement; "He who saves his country, saves himself, saves all things and all things saved do bless him. He who lets his country die, lets all things die, dies himself ignobly, and all things dying curse him." Do they want their generations yet unborn to be forever cursed? 1 Like 1 Share |
