Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday has asked citizens to ignore rumour being circulated that he had withdrawn from the 2019 governorship race to pave way for the emergence of Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Sanwo-Olu, is believed to be the anointed candidate of the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The incumbent governor gave the denial in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Habib Aruna, described the news is untrue.
