If he is bright the way u put it, he wouldn't need online advice to making a sound choice.

He/she should write an email to the multinational to request another interview date stating some good excuse. Let him/her resume at the new place, study the environment within two days to allow him/her give a good excuse for the new rescheduled interview date.

Wish him/her all the best.

MrBottle:
Good morning y'all,

We need sound advice from you guys.

A cousin got a good job that pays six figures and is expected to start in a week. The few days to commencement of work he received an interview invite from a multinational company that will pay him thrice and other amazing benefits. It is a sort after position and there is no guarantees that he may get in even though he is a bright and an intelligent dude.
He has resigned from his former position and is waiting patiently to start the new work before this interview invitation popped up. What do you suggest he'd do?

....please ....it is quite urgent

I will advise him to resume his present job offer. The supposed interview is an uncertainty and may end up losing both if he allows greed to take control of his thoughts now. A bird at hand is worth more than the millions in the bush. My take please. Thank you.

Defer your resumption date if possible and make sure u get a letter to that effect otherwise you may come back and see yourself replaced

People complicate life for themselves. Nobody is saying you shouldn't aim higher or stuff. Sometimes you allow things come to you. You already have a job with a good starting pay. You can grow learn and build your life with this and be happy. Why does the multinational have to clash with your resumption. What is yours is yours bro. Be content and have peace. Shalom

The person should go for the new interview and if considered, he or she should weigh the job security in each position before making final decision

Most of us don't understand tis world at all. What is urs will be urs, u won't have to make excuses to get it, u won't have to kill someone to get it, u won't have to deceive someone to get it. He already got a job of which if u ask him, he will say it was easy and he didn't have to do any rubbish tin to get it cos that job is his already. Tell your cousin that if he's considering going to that job interview, he is greedy and will most likely loose both jobs. On ur first day of work u want to pull excuses? Cos of another job u are not sure of, which pays 3x. Let me tell u God gives u freely but the devil is at one corner planning to take it away and he will succeed if u are a greedy person or a stupid person. As God gave u that job, the other 3x pay job is for someone else cos u already got urs, be grateful and work diligently, u will get opportunities to go higher and get 5x paying job. Be wise.

this is just the truth.

I was told to leave NPOWER and go for FRSC interview. but the Holy Spirit to relax.

I couldn't believe what I have been hearing about the interview since and m grateful for not going
