Osun state governor; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the governor-elect, Isiaq Gboyega Oyetola, took the the streets of Osogbo to appreciate the people following the outcome of yesterday's rerun election which favoured the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.

Some of the residents who trooped out on the streets, hailed them during the victory parade.

This happened today after observing Juma'at Prayer at Osogbo Central Mosque .

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola, the winner of the Osun governorship election.

INEC declared Oyetola the winner of the poll after the supplementary election held in seven polling units on Thursday.

PDP picking adeleke as their preferred candidate was a big mistake


his party first used his cert to demarket the party and his personalities prior to the election

secondly he can't convince the elites that had certificates in Osun, no sane person would allow someone with many cert scandals to rule them

thirdly he's inexperienced on how governorship election is being played out. he should have support omisore or a popular candidate to win the governorship election while he run for senate, he can gain much experience with the person's governance or better still lobby for deputy


Osun case in court is DOA, APC would definitely used jail to threaten the allegations of his cert forgery which would tempt him to drop the case
