Ayeni faith should shut up.

Everybody's now a political pundit, and trying to be relevant by saying things they know nothing about. Ambode's problem is a party problem, as he has offended the leadership of the party in
Lagos State.

How difficult is this for the Faith's of the world to understand?

And who are the people that will ask questions? The ibo or the calabar people?because the Yoruba's that have a stake in the matter have already asked and gotten their answers, and that is why you see them voting for Sanwo-Olu today.

Unless of course you Faith, want to say you are smarter than the whole Yoruba's in Lagos, and that they lack sense.

Rubbish.

If you must know, Ambode failed lagosians.

One of his biggest mistakes was sacking over 25000 staff of Lawma without a workable option, sacked 33 head of parastaltals as a get back move against Fashola, made himself inaccessible to people who voted him in, made himself an Emperor and demi god and ultimately sinned against GOD by sacking a reverend cos he did not give his wife preferential treatment in the house of GOD.

Can a Governor be that good that even his deputy loathes him.

Now let me blow your mind; Tinubu actually changed his mind at a point and tried to give him a second chance but guess what?, for the first time since 1999, Tinubu stalwarts threatened to rubbish him and go against him if he ever tries to force Ambode on them. Surprised I guess!

Let me just stop here.

*SPITS ON AMBODE*
I spit on his bald head grin
Re: Lagos APC Primaries: Tinubu May Have To Cry! - Ayeni Faith Damilola by ladman(m): 2:58pm On Oct 02, 2018
Many still think Tinubu is a grand chess master that moves things anyhow but those who are familiar with south west politics know he is only a formidable team captain with dictatorial power to some extent which he has used recklessly sometimes and met defeat.(eg. Ondo).

Ambode's sin is his failure to mix governance with politics. He abandoned the structure (Tinubu's team) that bulldozed him to power. He is the star player that refused to work with the team.

Captain Tinubu is not happy with him but the team is fed up and decided to find another star player.

In fashola's case then, the captain Tinubu was not happy but the team members loved their star player (fashola) and tempered Tinubu's dictatorial power.

If ambode decides to switch team, he will lose his seat and only time will tell if he will ever be able to build a political career.

Need I say more?

Ambode, by the press conference he did, proved that he's guilty of all he was alleged of. He has once again proved Tinubu right. By going ahead to openly confront his benefactor, he has proved to be a very arrogant and disloyal disciple. Who knew Ambode before Tinubu made him governor? That's not the type of person you attempt to rubbish.

And Ambode dares not decamp. Any attempt for him to do so will see him evicted from Alausa before his tenure ends. That will compound his problem even if PDP presents him - though that is very unlikely for PDP to do.

Did he not beg, did her not appeal, did he not apologise, did he not get people to beg, apologize and appeal on his behalf?

Didn't you all celebrate him as the best governor in Nigeria, didn't you all claim Ambode is working? What changed? What actually changed?

I never wanted to subscribe to the mantra that Yorubas are betrayers like Igbos used to say but sincerely, what you all have done clearly proved that.

You all on nairaland from the house of APC have finally showed the world where your loyalty lies,... It was never for the benefit of Nigeria but the crumbs you feed off from Tinubus table... Tinubu May Have to Cry!

Asiwaju is a wonder to behold. Tinubu is incredible too. He's undisputably the main man in Nigerian politics today. He's the most powerful whenever the President is not contesting. He was a senator when Nigeria's eyes was closed. He was a Governor when the sun was just rising and, the father of Governors at dawn. Tinubu fought, alongside others, Abacha and won. As Governor, he survived Obasanjo's greenades. Goodluck Jonathan understands that his name is not something of a joke. He did not only enthrone Buhari, but made his former aides vice-president and ministers in his government. Would you then argue that Asiwaju is not something else?

But, Tinubu may cry soon. Either Ambode loses today's primary or not, Asiwaju has a whole lot to fear. When people call you master, don't rejoice, tell them you are only a servant. Unfortunately, with the humiliation of Ambode, Asiwaju is openly calling himself the master of Lagos politics. He's calling himself the driver of Lagos' wheel in the public glare. He's telling lagosians that they are but his balls. He's telling the discerning that he owns Lagos and everything that breathes within its walls and, of course, all that is true; but it is better not said. Tinubu is openly counting his slaves, and our foregoers said wisely, that when you count your slaves, they become so sad. There will always be a counter coup. The people of Lagos will demand freedom soon, they will revolt and, history will repeat itself. The Jagaban of Lagos is planning his own fall and, I'm afraid.

The people will soon ask questions. They will ask Tinubu what the sins of Ambode are and, by the time such questions are being asked, not many answers will drink water. Thesame Ambode that was once acclaimed the best Governor in Nigeria? The same Ambode that has transformed lagos? Would lagosians have to replace him simply because he had refused to be totally submissive to the master? Would they reject him because of his personal issues with the Jagaban? Will any lagosian accuse Ambode of under-performance? Not even when it is public knowledge that this young man has pleaded with Asiwaju, not even when the people of Lagos know that his wife has appeased the god of Lagos politics.

Tinubu has enemies within the APC, not many Abuja politicians are pleased with him, or so it looks. It will not be a cup of tea to fight Ambode (maybe then as the opposition's candidate ), the opposition, the people of Lagos and, his in-house enemies at the same time. Discretion is a better part of valor. This is only an agidigbo drum, only the wise dances to it and the knowledgeable understands its lyrics.

I wonder why people keeps shouting #tinubu being a dictator. Common, this same man brought ambode in UNOPPOSED (they said he imposed).

Now same people are shouting he should let Ambode run unchallenged again(imposition), but this man insisted that the will of party members must prevail(OPEN VOTING SYSTEM) WITHOUT IMPOSITION!

Nigerians don't even know what they want! They just join a particular chorus and sing same song WITHOUT CRITICAL ANALYSIS! LET @asiwajutinubu be Abeg!

An Incumbent Governor without any political structure! Is that one a good leader?? Arrogance! Selfishness! Dictator! Too know! Ambode ko!

Let him go and learn the qualities of a good Leader! #Youdontbitethefingersthatfeedsyou#

So, that he begged meant he must be forgiven? Where was his brain when he was being called to order by the party’s leaders but was being stubborn?

Politics is about balancing the act of governance and managing the party at the same time. He offended too many party leaders and members.

No he definitely is not bt if u want to beat him u need to put in the level of hard work he put in. It’s not beans. I don’t like the man bt I respect his work input. How many politicians that stole money have done anything meaningful with it or built up a significant party with it.

......what most people especially the lagosians doesn't understand is that, it wasn't Tinubu's call alone. It was the party members/stakeholders that's deciding today.

Ambode had really steps on toes. And it will go down in history as the governor that was disgrace with party primary out of office.

I’m not a member of APC and also not a Lagosian. However, I know enough to accept that a sitting governor doesn’t just lise the entire party structure if he hasn’t indeed been a terrible party man. Remember he’s a leader of the party as well; yet he doesn’t have any leader willing to “die” for his case! I’m not saying he didn’t perform or that he performed woeful. Unfortunately, he proved he’s a terrible party man.

please tell us how much you were paid to write this! Did you know Ambode before 3yrs ago, have you taken time to compare his administration with the previous ones, have you taken note how dirty and smelling Lagos has become after Fashola regime? That guy has no clue on how to govern the smalleat state in Nigeria!

Now, the same person that presented him to Lagosians about 4yrs ago says no need for a second term, so be it because the guy has failed woefully in governance. Instead of building on BRF's success in Lagos he decided to be a superstar unnecessarily. There are so many projects in Lagos today, all are far from half done, why? He should remember we were all in Lagos before he became Gov.,meaning he enjoyed Fashola's era. I don't think anybody enjoys his administration,Lagos traffic became worse due to bad alternative roads and who suffers? The masses!

And for your comments on Tinubu, its quiet unfortunate that you are seem like a Yoruba person. He wasn't the only one that fought the military then(NADECO),where are the rest? Where were these people calling him all sought of names, did they fight for the right in Nigeria? Yoruba people, you are blessed to have that son please value him. Research for the sacrifices he paid to fight the military, infact the whole Nigeria needs to appreciate this smart and intelligent business man!!!

As an outsider I used to think Tinubu was the sole person running Lagos but this saga has proven otherwise.

I have read several instances where he had to kowtow to his people's demands.

Tinubu is only the face of his people wishes.
In reality, he is their servant.
