There was a country called Maru. With the current president, the economy was moving smoothly. Unfortunately, the people and the opposition party accused the unbiased and gentle president of corruption and money laundering.

In the next election, he was defeated by the opposition party. President Uria, who lost the election, called the president-elet, President Dante to congratulate him for defeating for his victory. Uria is a simple president who wasn't power hungry.

Before Dante won the election, he made lots of promises and how he will change the country to become a great nation. He promised to turn 1 Maru currency to $1, end insurgency, create millions of jobs, reduce fuel pump price, give constant electricity, and many more amazing promises.

One year after Dante's administration, the economy collapsed and was on recession. The citizens of Maru started suffering, millions of jobs were lost, the currency depreciated, fuel price increased, raping became rampant, kidnapping soared, road accident increased, internet fraud by the citizenry multiplied, voodooism skyrocketed, armed robbery became a new business, nepotism, bribery, corruption, and all manners of crimes became the new system in town.

Everyone was trying to do anything doable to make money and escape the hardship. President Dante couldn't handle the mayhem his party and regime has caused, so he became depressed, fell ill, boarded a flight, and ran to a hospital in London.

His loyalists call him Mr. Integrity, but after he won the election, he showed his true color — he was actually Mr. Corruption and Nepotism. Though, he didn't hide it on his first speech, but it was a subliminal message.

Dante spent most of his days in office in London. At a point, some angry citizens started calling him Mr. Tourism because he only comes to his country once in a while. Most of those people who abused Dante on social media were traced, arrested, killed, or detained by the military.

Dante is a secret user of the 48 Laws of Power. He has become a tyrant and had switched a democratically elected government to a military one. The army started abusing the citizens of Maru and nothing will happen because loves to see his citizens suffer — he was a retired military man.

The police increased their road tax and bribery. If you don't bribe them on the road, your chances of being shot dead is high. Whenever President Dante is in London, the vice president, Oshua, makes the economy of Maru boom, but when he returns, everything collapses again. It was as if he was bad luck personified — whatever he touches, fails.

President Dante acts gentle and calm just to be perceived as Mr. Integrity, but deep down, he was the most wicked and nepotistic president ever, in Maru.

Two years later, the crime and corruption in Maru increased and so did poverty and hunger. Some depressed and helpless citizens of Maru started committing suicide because they have lost all hopes.

A deadly militia group from President Dante's clan emerged and started killing other clans, but Dante paid deaf ears to the genocide that was going on in the land of Maru.

In late 2016, David, a citizen of Maru was financially unstable because of recession and lack of money in the land. David was a graduate of Oxford, but came back to Maru to serve his nation. Unfortunately, he was faced with poverty which was brought into the nation by Dante.

David is an IT guru, but his country, Maru, has been blacklisted on 80% of all the money making websites on the internet.

One day, he was surfing the net on how to become a billionaire and came across a forum named Nairaland.com.

He read through the post and saw a funny comment by one of the users. Then again, he saw another funny comment. Immediately, he fell in love with the site.

The next day, he started creating posts on the site. Unfortunately, something bad happened, but guess what? This bad thing later turned out to be the greatest good-bad thing of all time.
