Actually, many Yorubas were and are still advocating for Peter Obi. Go to Twitter and see them.

The ones on NL are probably using the anonymity of NL to spread the anti-Atiku BMC nonsense.

The ones on FB and Twitter knows, as many do, that another 4 years of lifelessness will probably sink Nigeria.

That is what I am saying.
The ones on nairaland are not sincere.

They hate atiku because he chose an igbo VP.

That is their main issue with him.

Negotiate:
It’s relatively true.

The causative effect of intels alone led to the birth of other companies that feed off Intel.

Also do consider that certain forms of employment include temporary employment opportunities.

Me wey dey hustle for street, in the cause of certain projects I’ve employed over 100 persons at different times or temporary basis, talk more of Atiku.

The ripple effect of one of his projects could involve several teams who will adopt and employ idle hands both on a long term and short term basis.

Note, he did not say

I have employed 50000 persons.

He said

His projects have generated over 50k jobs.

If you even know Spyder88 on Nairaland’s housing section, he has employed thousands of hands on various building projects.

That’s the ripple effect of simple decisions.

I thought some people are now saying that he had sold his major share in INTEL to Tinubu? Atiku employing 50,000 people is a scam if it is proved that this number is higher than Dangote staff number. That's, if the number of employees under Dangote is not up to 50k, Atiku's claim will turn out to be scam

The issue here is not religion. Atiku is a Muslim. It is not tribe, Atiku is Fulani. We are localizing this on the crass incompetence of the man at the top. He lacks idea of what to do. The fact that he chose an igbo VP. That is what is paining them.
They wants to reap where they didn't sow.

And you expect these bunch of pseudo patriotic bigoted Yoruba mongrels to give us an objective opinion.

I don't blame them. It is the naive people that takes these Yoruba touts serious, that I blame.

Left to me, I will just jump and pass any anti atiku thread created by these clowns.

My vote is going to atiku in 2019 without fail.
Pls don't go that yoruba line. Atiku is very likely to win the SW cos of restructuring as well as the disastrous performance of buhari!

Atiku will win a pan Nigerian mandate. Yorubas had 8yrs presidency under PDP mind you!

Dangote is the largest conglomerate in West Africa and one of the largest on the African continent with over 18 subsidiaries and presence in over 10 countries. Has revenue in excess of $4.1bn. The conglomerate has just a little over 30,000 employees.

First Bank is the biggest bank in Nigeria by total deposits and gross earnings. Operating a network of over 750 business locations across Africa, the United Kingdom and representative offices in Abu Dhabi, Beijing and Johannesburg set up to capture trade-related business between geographies. It has a total employee of about 8,000+

The Lagos State public sector is the largest employer of labour amongst the states in Nigeria. Nigeria's largest state economy and the 5th largest economy on the African continent. The state's public sector has a little over 100,000 in its employment.
Facebook and it's Instagram and WhatsApp subsidiaries, with presence and field offices in many locations outside USA and an revenue of over $40bn (2017) has a little over 30,000 employees.

The Al-Futtaim group. One of the largest conglomerate in the Middle-East and perhaps the 2nd or 3rd largest in the UAE with billions of dollars in revenue has about 42,000 employees across the UAE, Middle East and the World.

The Koch industry is the second largest privately held company in the United States and the world. If it was a listed company, it would be the 17th largest in the world. The multinational employs 120,000 people in 60 COUNTRIES, with about half of its business in the United States.

How does Atiku's companies employ about 50,000 people? Where? How? Which of the companies? How many staff does ABTI have? How many does his water company have?
INTEL, his biggest company by way of revenue cannot boast of 2,000 staff. I doubt Atiku's companies combined employs up to 10,000. The numbers do not add up at all. It is either he pays below minimum wage, doesn't pay at all or must have a high number of staff redundancy. Do you even know the PAYEE taxes he'd have to remit to state governments on those 50,000? Per month?

If Dangote, the largest conglomerate in the whole of West Africa, and one of the largest in the world, with numerous heavy industries to boast of employs only about 30,000, which of ATIKU'S businesses are that big?

Me: Atiku can only Atikulate the lives and brains of wailers. We knew that with time, more lies would be revealed and as we're aware, the trends are dropping faster than we had expected.

Do you know what they call indirect jobs? Do you know what they call value chain? Have you scrutinized the sectors Atiku invests in? Are you comparing Intel with FBN? Or FB?

People are losing pensionable jobs under APC and the party is replacing same with N-power jobs. Yet you sit here pontificating over Atiku's job creation figures.

Why does your blindness have no cure?

he does not need a source. This is basic logic, common sense

The statement reads "I GENERATED 50k jobs".....he did not say "I have 50k employees".....common sense would help anyone figure out what the word 'generate' means. It is only someone who has no form of reasoning that will automatically assume generating jobs means he is directly employing people and keeping them in his employ

I know regular people who live in Surrey.

Croydon is in Surrey, Kingston is in Surrey, Woking is in Surrey , so what's the bug deal about Surrey.

Is it only kids of the wealthy that school at the university of of Surrey?

I once had a meeting with a French diplomat in Surrey. His was the biggest house I’ve ever seen in England— and I’ve been to a few— with courts, swimming pool and the likes. There were no walking paths to the houses in the area. Everyone was expected to come and have a car.

It’s a residential area for the wealthy (where the University of Surrey is). To describe someone who sends his children to study for a 3 year degree and an 18 months masters where the rate and expenses should easily exceed N12m per year is being unfair to the individual. More than one child.

And yes, unless we want to deceive ourselves, such individual will easily afford a N24m nomination form. (What was the cost of the form in 2015?)

Before we can argue, you have to list all his companies and then we can access their workforce, else this is just envy and jealousy.

The person who is checking how many people Atiku employs, how many does he employ?

All those companies you are using to compare, are they not people like you that own it?

If they were online check who can employ what numbers they would not have made it.
