Nigeria’s population is too much !
so how should the population be reduced? how many sisters and brothers do you have? how many children do you have? how many are the whole of your families?

Maybe we can start reducing the populations from your families then maybe the next families, and maybe the whole of your village, what do you think?

2.2m minimum wage for Switzerland?

What are we still doing in this deadzone undecided
It's lie, i have lived in switzerland that figure is totally wrong! you can not earn more than €1,500 in a month minimum, if you do overtime maybe you might earn up to €1800 to €2000

Nigerian rulers are the most inconsiderate, vile, wicked, and highly malevolent creatures on earth. The amount these crooks are proposing is not up to the amount they use in buying meals for their girlfriends and escorts but they would rather propose it to very hard working and long suffering Nigerians as minimum wage.
Hell will be too nice a punishment for the various crimes they commit against the citizens and the children and children's children they are amassing this wealth for may not even turn out to be responsible human beings self.
Pay people by the hour they refuse and claim there is no money while guys like tinubu and ganduje are secretly milking them dry to the bones yet the same people will come online to sing praises to their oppressors. What a shame.

Your brother charly boy will not protest on reasonable issue like the minimum wage, enslavery of Nigerian graduates through contract jobs by Indian, labanese companies in the country,,,all what he is always protesting for are political motivated issues ,all because of his hatred for pmb/apc.

The public sector cannot employ everyone, the problem is,relative to the population of this country private enterprise is not thriving at all.. The key to coming out of this mess is for government to reduce the bureaucracy and difficulty of doing business in Naija.. Government should support SME's, these are the heartbeat of any economy.. An economy based on a single depreciating product such as oil is nothing short of disaster..

People should start something in there backyard, relying on these visionless, self serving politicians to dig us out is a mere waste of time..

Comedian I Go Dye has stated that Nigerian workers are the most used in the world as he lent his voice to the demand for an increase in minimum wage in Nigeria.

Different labour groups have threatened to go on strike if their demands of N30,000 minimum wage is not met. They have advised Nigerians to stock their homes with food and needed materials ahead of the the strike which they say will begin on the 6th of November.

Reacting to the call for a new minimum wage, comedian I Go Dye compared the treatment Nigerian workers are getting to what their counterparts in the rest of the world are getting.

Sharing on Instagram, he wrote:

Blame our leaders past and present. If they didn't treat the citizens like trash,no country would've dared it.

I think Bangladeshi workers have d worst working conditions in d world.

Its good 2 increase minimum wage. Its non negotiable but d real work is d private sector. D private sector doesn't pay minimum wage. They pay what they like, way below d countries outlined in d story. Its not just an issue of money but also job security. These are things that folks in d public sector enjoy. D fact is that d public sector is a drain on d country cos many civil servants don't work. They collect free salary. Cos d system is corrupt there's very few ways of assessing productivity
I agree with you about that private sector.

I once taught in a school and was being paid #6k per month and I was teaching primary 4, jss 1, 2 and 3. Those were the worst months of my life. When I wanted to leave, the owner started begging that she was planning to increase my salary to 8k. Imagine?

I just told her I wasn't interested any more. That was when I got the idea of freelance writing and it has been way better.

You argue blindly when you argue with your emotions. We can start by controlling birth rate in Nigeria to keep a balanced population, otherwise even 18k / month won't be possible. Our eye go clear when oil becomes obsolete.

yea, it's easy to suggest controlling birth rates, but who will be the first to accept that condition? would you Accept such condition? in a country were Religion have made most people, infact, everybody believes that it doesn't matter if you have A dozen children because children are gifts from God, and that God will provide the resources to take care of the 12 children in each poor family.

It would be impossible to impliment birth control In a country like Nigeria were it calls for celebrations when someone gives birth to a child, in a country were people beieves that if you have many children you have more chances of one of them becoming a billionaire.

Again, be sincere tell me would you be the first to accept to have just one child? or two?

Remember do not Argue with emotion because you would be Aguing blindly. according to you.

Cheers grin

We are the shame of Africa at the moment. We have some the most wicked set of leaders that have ever happen to any country in the world. It baffles me why we haven't kill them already. So heartless and so ineffective with big degrees and exposure and nothing to show for it.

He's right .

Buhari minister is proposing 24 thousand naira as minimum wage for hard working Nigerian workers In a country as ours where everything in the market is on the high side due to Buhari cluelessness.

Smh

The government is borrowing to pay 18000, do you think it will be easier or harder paying 30000?

Most states are still owing at 18000, will it be easier paying at 30000?
