We've all forgotten these people are human beings not robots, they face depression, stigma and other ailments throughout their lives. A police person getting drunk should definitely be suspended or fired but perhaps a more sensible decision would be suspension until successful completion of rehab? I mean you fired a police officer barely struggling to wake up in the morning, what preventts him from using his training and becoming a notorious armed robber?

The drunk policeman that appeared in a viral video has been dismissed from the Force by the Inspector General of Police.

Inspector Kadima Useni served with the 22nd squadron of the Mobile Police Force (Mopol 22) in Ikeja before his dismissal.

His dismissal was announced by the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command on their Twitter feed.

The Nigerian police should find another means to settle this. Dismissing him isn't the best.. There should be a better way sha
