Court approves suit seeking Fani-Kayode, Abaribe, others’ trial for Kanu’s escape

The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday, cleared for commencement a suit seeking an order of mandamus to compel the police and the Department of State Security Service to prosecute certain individuals for allegedly aiding the escape of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, from Nigeria.

Justice John Tsoho, in a ruling on an ex parte application, granted leave to the plaintiff, Mr. Isiah Ayugu, to commence the suit.

He ordered the suit to be served on the defendants – the DSS, its Director-General, the police and the Inspector-General of Police.

He fixed November 22 for the hearing of the suit.
Those the suit is seeking their arrest and prosecution included a former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode.

They also include those who stood sureties for the bail granted Kanu by the Federal High Court in Abuja in April last year – Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, Tochukwu Uchendu, and Emmanuel Shallom Ben.

What an inconsistent judiciary we have.

The same court that ordered the federal government to let go of kanu is now giving mandamus to prosecute his sureties.

Another case for Fani Kayode.

Now it's time for him to prove his love for the biafrans by doing the time reserved for Nnamdi Kanu.

Not by chasing Ndigbo pusssies upandan!

Trouble dey sleep yanga go wake am. If not what's the nexus between FFK & Nnamdi kanu ?. Why stand as surety to a Terrorist, knowingly he was likely to jump bail. FFK has forgotten his place in contemporary Nigerian politics & criminality. If not, FFK who himself is enjoying a bail currently, thinks he is above the law. The court will forfeit the bonds they entered to which is around 200,000,000. Million. More revenue for pmb to use in developing Nigeria.

Funny how our lives has been politicized.

Do we need a Court for the Courts to do their work

They stood as sureties and should bear the consequences, even the book of Ecclesiastes warned against standing for an unworthy fellow's debt

Nnamdi Kanu is a scam, if you know, you know......If you don't, you are dumb...... No be abuse, Na fact!!!!

The judiciary of late has allowed itself to be a laughing stock and a tool in the hands of certain people. I expected the judge to look holistically on the circumstance leading to the escape of the leader of ipob.

He was let out subject to certain conditions. Since he has refused to abide by those conditions, those who stood surety for him must now pay.

They are thinking of Atikulating their Obituary but Kanu's matter has popped up again throwing them into eternal confusion.

Blackmarket suit affirmed by Cash-and-carry inJustice Tsoho the cowardly one.

Even the person who sued can also be counter-sued in another court by Abaribe and Fani-kayode for false information which attracts a minimum of 6 months jailtime.

Ayugu Isiah will be counter-sued, game on. Let's play on.

I think Court should go after those who stood as his surety .
abi FFK if yes, I have nothing to say,
if otherwise, then it's a case of witch hunt.

This is very welcome.... shocked

If u are a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria and still don’t have sense, the law will teach u sense.
How on earth shld abaribe have gone so low because of politics and stand surety for someone who is calling for dividing the nation with all of hate speeches.

Great shame to Abaribe

And to FFK, the man is finished mentally and morally he lives his life to always support evil since his party lost the 2015 election.

Even Peter Obi the real masterminder of IPOB is also coming to contest as Vice President of the same country he tries to divide.
Nemesis will catch all of them soon.
