The interviews for Experienced Hire positions start this week bro. A friend of mine has his this week.

If the Oyibo guy told us to expect feedback in 4 weeks time, he MIGHT be implying that the Experienced Hire interviews may be in batches.

Maybe Marvel68 would be in a better position shed more light on this.

Yeah for the experience position there were about 3 white guys during the first test on the 26th of last month.

They called in Tuesday I think 30th for interview.I was expecting 4weeks as they said but in 5days they call already.

So many found folks I know who wrote the test were not called it makes me wonder how they called very few folks criteria dry used is Wat keeps me wondering.

If masters in peterolum masters cannot pass a subsurface test

And masters in drilling cannot pass a drilling skills test
I wonder the folks that will pass the test.

Just wondering, what if one had an excellent CV and very suitable for Mobil but didn't pass the stupid Dragnet test.. Mobil should really have a compromise for such people. What if such people are not familiar with Dragnet's tests..

lol, that's highly improbable.

lol, that's highly improbable. No matter how uncatchy your CV is, if your experiences and background are top notch, it should shine through, plus there's space for a cover letter. Same cannot be said for the test. Their test isn't even like say the McKinsey PST where core skills and knowledge are tested - business and analytical acumen in the case of McKinsey.. Plus McKinsey screens Cvs to back up my point.
Dragnet's test was erratic at best and isn't a good judge at screening suitable applicants for this purpose

Well, the test was dreadful for almost everyone that took it, but aptitude tests are conducted for various reasons to meet organizational requirements. Some of these requirements are; analytical skills, competence, problem solving skills, comprehension skills, critical thinking skills.

So you see why having them on your CV is merely academic if you can't pass the test??
