What kind of nonsense is this?

There's a local parlance that a politician must be wary of.

Atiku tried to mislead the public.

He's been known to be a pathological liar and criminally minded individual.

If we are to go by your so called definition, then MOST NIGERIANS are ORPHANS, most were raised by a single parent when they were below 18 due to either separation or death to one of the parents, so spare us the "bambiala rhetoric"

Buhari didn't even know his father when he died because he was still a little boy, should Buhari also claim to be an orphan? when you do not have concrete stuff to bank on, you start looking for sympathy vote.

Covetous Atiku should stop deceiving fools that believe in him.

Atiku that is even competing with local, state and federal government on minimum wage. a private sector paying his own workers minimum wage of 18k.

Crook!

You must think we're fools here.

In Nigeria, everyone knows what the word "orphan" stand for. it's mostly a word used for children without PARENTS!

That's why we mostly have what we call "orphanage homes" for children without parents.

Let's stop being silly in this country!
Instead of you to learn something new today, you're affirming your foolishness

If only APC can focus on things that will benefit the economy of Nigeria, Nigeria won't be in it's present mess. Atiku is our awaiting president whether they like it or not.

Oga shut up your mouth, you want to use "english" to confuse fools.

If we are to go by that, then almost everyone in Nigeria should be seen as orphans!

Most were raised with little or no presence of one of the parents!

youths in Nigeria are the real problems of this country. we shouldn't even be talking about these two Buhari and Atiku, imagine this one talking about UNICEF definition of orphan cos he has been sorted. we are all in trouble as long as we are in this country. we need political consciousness.
Whether he was sorted or not he was able to come with concrete evidence.

Hello, Exergerating what's not to draw pity

Yes, he was a orphan who had his mum all to himself. Why emphasize on the word in a political course

It's all to draw pity

orphan. An orphan is someone who has lost both parents. Usually, we think of sad little children when we think of orphans, but anyone whose parents have both died is an orphan. ... Orphans often spend lots of time looking for friends or surrogates to fill the gap left by their deceased parents.

Ignore the sympathy story and focus on more important issues. It's that simple. Was he sobbing when he said he had no shoes or that he was an orphan? Is he the only orphan? So why not ignore after all he said many other things.

Gaslight
/ˈɡaslʌɪt/
verb
gerund or present participle: gaslighting

manipulate (someone) by psychological means into doubting their own sanity.
"in the first episode, Karen Valentine is being gaslighted by her husband"

Example: Engineerboat tried gaslighting the entire Nairaland with his generic definition of the word "Orphan". cheesy cheesy cheesy

They have refused to be remorseful even in their wrong doings.
