All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors from the North-East say President Muhammadu Buhari deserves a second term in office based on his performance so far.

They gave the endorsement at the end of a two-day APC North-East zonal meeting in Bauchi on Sunday.

Governors, who attended the meeting in Bauchi, included Kashim Shettima of Borno, Bindow Jibrila of Adamawa, Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi, former governors Isa Yuguda of Bauchi and Modu Sheriff of Borno, among others.

Governor Shettima said the President has done extremely well, and that the sub-region has benefitted from his administration.

“We all know the sorry state of the country, we are the net beneficiaries of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in terms of appointment, securing lives and properties and projects.

“Because the Mambilla hydropower project in Gembu Taraba alone is game changer in this part of the world.

“Therefore North-east is Buhari’s territory, believe me the sub-region will solely back him in 2019 general election,” said.

grin grin grin APC Governors’ meeting! Did anyone expect APC governors to endorse Atiku over Buhari? These governors would be struggling to get re-elected with the new Tsunami that is about to sweep across the NE and NC regions. Wait for it...

The difference between the 2019 election and the previous elections is that Buhari is likely not going to have a clean sweep in the NE like in previous elections. He (Buhari) usually got up to 1.3million votes in bauchi for instance, but with Atiku’s presence on the ballot, those numbers are going to be challenged, same with Borno and Yobe.

NE and NC will likely be the battleground in the 2019 election. The rest of the regions are pretty much locked for either candidate, with SW likely to be split as usual. SE, SS goes for Atiku while NW goes to Buhari as usual.

What else will they say?

All I know is that Gov. Bindow will lose.

And Atiku will win.

And some of the governors will work for Atiku covertly.

No man born of a woman can floor buhari in the north or even compete with him shoulder to shoulder infact no one can get Half of his votes! The sooner they all realize this the better they utilize their energy on winning other southern zones!

na wetin u for talk since than using the word Tsunami.u know northwest vote will likely cancel that of southeast southsouth vote combined judging by the PVC collection figures from the 3 regions.southwest won't be a 50/50 or 55/45 split like the last election cos southeast and southsouth clearly sent a wrong signals to southwest they wanted the vice president slot and they even threatened PDP if PDP give the position to southwest. Am sure the message was well passed to the southwestern electorates.don't expect them to leave their own son present position for another person or region that threatened a party they must be given the slot.na becos real campaign Neva start na em make u dey reason say southwest vote na like 2015 election kinda split

How are you certain SW vote would be split? And also what gives an assurance that SS will vote massively for Atiku?

What do you expect before? The Masses will definitely vote for a Messiah which is ATIKU.
They cant wait for the incompetent man to continue to lead them astray. With all the killings in the NorthEast?
Imagine we lost about 100 gallant soldiers in a war front after he collected $1bn to procure weapons. We can all see that the money was for elections and not for the war. Listen to the video of the soldiers complaining of using machines and equipment of 1983. Haba. here we have a former general who knows about war and has not deemed it fit to address the nation. This almost make me believe the case of Jubril. See what Buhari said in 2015.

SE, SS, NC goes for Atiku.

NW goes for Buhari. Only just. Kano for instance will be split if Kwankwaso fully gets on board, which I think it has.

SW would be split.
NE would be spilt in favour of Atiku.

APC knows this hence the arm twisting tactics it’s recently employed.
