One thing many people don't know was that mechanic and brake masters are different profession but look like the same, we have many greedy mechanic that claimed to do brake but you will know when things are difficult for them they will now refer you to a brake specialist which only do brake then u will know the difference between mechanic and brake master

Easier said than done. Pray it never happens.

Prevention is better than cure. Make sure you check and fix any issues especially the brake before embarking on the road especially long journeys. Never take any fault for granted no matter how small the issue is. Do your best and leave the rest for God

no it won't. It will allow acceleration drop.

Even automatic cars have gears 1 and 2. But remember that the whole idea is to reduce the engine power gradually by reducing the gears. so you may what to avoid going to neutral.
