The Vice Presidential Debate organized as part of the Campaign for the 2019 general elections has ended.but with both sides making claims and counter claims it has become imperative to ask Nigerians this simple question.

Who in your Honest Opinion Won the debate and Which Party will you be supporting based on the outcome of today's debate?

God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

NONE OF THE TWO!

THE YOUNG LADY FROM THE YOUTH PARTY DID. WHY?

BECAUSE SHE NAILED THE TRUTH ON THE WALL:

THE SYSTEM IS NOT SO MUCH THE PROBLEM BUT THE PEOPLE! CORRUPT LEADERSHIP AND FOLLOWERSHIP.

SHE SAID THE SOLUTION TO NIGERIA'S PROBLEMS IS PATRIOTISM. PATRIOTISM THAT DISMANTLES CORRUPTION.

This is the first time since 1983 that an Igbo is on the ballot. 6 million votes is sure for Atiku

Are you kidneying me?

Where were you when ojukwu contested and lost in 2007?

Where were you when Edwin Ume-Ezeoke was the running mate of Buhari in 2007?

Where were you when Orji Uzor Kalu contested for presidency in 2007?

Keep deceiving yourself with 6 million sure votes.

We know where you will be and what you will be doing on that election day, so forget!

Mind you, I like Peter Obi but I can never ever vote for Atiku even if I am paid well enough to do so.

Besides, you and I know that in nigerian politics, the position of the veepee is not really a strong position of power.

Obi as President would have been ideal. I would have said same of Osibanjo as well, but it is certain his integrity has been adulterated by party whims and sentiments.

Las las, if Nigerians could be wise for once, they would employ Olawepo Hashim or Sowore come 2019 by dividing their votes between them. Atiku? Buhari? Common shift. Gerontocracy has never helped Nigeria.

We can't c FDI but we can c rice. Pls confirm if this statement from Osinbajo is true or false:

"97% of rice consumed by Nigerians is locally produced. Nigeria only imports 3% of d rice it consumes".

Shut up with this your "I'm not a party man" nonsense! You've been yarning this crap since on Nairaland when your posts clearly indicates you are a PDP sycophant! Your poor attempt at defending Obi's lies even gave you off further!

Osinbajo goofed on the rice importation figures even though they've done a lot to increase local rice production.

Go & rewatch! Obi clearly said 87 million Nigerians are unemployed, not poor, & that's a disgraceful lie! And what's the meaning of "we no dey see FDI, but we can see rice"? Is that all you're going to say to defend your party's VP candidate on his shameless lies on FDI? Funny guys!
grin
In addition to his shameless lies on FDI & unemployment, he also made a daft claim that 6% of Nigerians fall into poverty every minute, meaning even if Nigeria started at 0% poverty, under one hour, Nigeria would have 100% poverty rate. Which kin unintelligent lie be this by your party's VP candidate?

Any objective and unbiased person knows Osinbajo won that Debate. Peter Obi is a fluke and pretender. Osinbajo was by far better informed and more articulate than him. By far. Osinbajo had a better grasp of the issues while Obi was just jamtalking without making much sense. Obi failed at being specific about what PDP intends to do differently. All his China talk was just a smokescreen.

Same Obi!! That said borrowing is not bad that Nigeria can even borrow more. Chai!!!! PDP and deceit .

How did he floor him, by providing inconsistent figures? Or forgetting that all what he is saying they will do, if done in their miserable 16years of rule nobody will be complaining by now?

How can PDP be saying they will fight corruption? When PDP = Corruption.

Obi is a nice guy no doubt, but he is in the wrong camp with a wrong Presidential aspirant whose desperation for power can make him deny even his parents.

Watched the debate. Peter Obi had proper understanding of things. He gave very workable and practical solution, breaking it down properly for understanding.

Things I learnt from him;

He talked on how SME can uplift the economy.
He talked on investing in education, highlighting STEM
Then he talked on focusing on future generation while presently Nigeria is focused on the past, actually this one really hit my soul.

Osibanjo was doing more of rebutal on Obis points. He was just eloquent, but I never got any tangible point. He was more blaming past regime.

I had PVC since 2011, but never voted before.
This will be the first time I will and must vote.
I never wanted to vote for Buhari or Atiku I was contemplating between Obi Ezekwesili or Fela Durotaye. But Obi is convincing me to change my mind.

See another one undecided

why do you Afonja fellows (tho you may not be one, but I'm speaking for the majority) always assume that every one supporting Atiku/Obi is an Igbo man?

This simplistic thinking is what has kept many of you foolish.

I can tell you that Atiku enjoys wide support from across the country, and tho at this point, Buhari may still have a little more support over him, but his support is widespread

Word on the street in the north is that Buhari and Atiku have strongfans, but in the NW, buhari may just edge atiku out, but not with a wide margin.
The North central who has been ravaged by herdsmen will of course, not show much support to Buhari like they did in 2015

The Deep south and the South East of course will not support Buhari for obvious reasons

The main support base I see is the SW, because for many of these deluded folks, they think Osinbajo will take over by some way after Buhari, which is quite laughable because

1) There is NO WAY on earth that Buhari and that his cabal will watch power being handed over to osinbajo....

Instead, another aboki will replace Buhari

2)Assuming Buhari does b4 23 (highly unlikely, because even shagari who senior am is still alive) ; Osinbajo will complete his term, then lose woefully, because just as the northern folks did to oga joe, they will present a northern candidate, and use block voted from their region, plus disgruntled voters from the South to Push him out.

So how really do you think that PYO will succeed PMB cheesy grin

The cold truth is....

No southern folkwill be president in the next 12 years.

And it's due to the destructive politics you guys play inthe South undecided

Oga, this is not the first time you're yarning this disgusting " I'm not a party man" nonsense on Nairaland when your posts clearly says otherwise! I was already expecting that response when I first quoted you & you didn't disappoint as this isn't the first time I'm coming across your posts!
Your fellow PDP sycophants on this forum own & are proud of their bias which is why I don't have much problems with them because you know where they're coming from with each comment, but you go dey deceive yourself say you dey neutral while only attacking the people who post in favour of the party you don't like. How do you delude yourself so comfortably?

Now you're saying I just agreed that Osinbajo goofed on the rice figures just because you pointed it out but you've forgotten that you already pointed that out in your initial comment that I quoted which is the major reason why I responded with Obi's even more blatant & disgraceful lies! You comfortably pointed out Osinbajo's false figures on rice but deliberately ignored & even tried to shamelessly defend some of Obi's more disgraceful & unintelligent lies that I pointed out to you, & later you'd still claim you're neutral! grin Go & sleep, man!

Osibanjo tried to criminally manipulate things but Obi was very factual and practical, in developing economic policy , you have to got a MODEL, how it worked for them, but Osibanjo was just rigmaroling about, tried to blame someone. In summary Obi won, I give it to Peter Obi.
