Hello house, pls my brother is making arrangement to procure Shengen visa from another country. So i want to know if he can travel with visa procured from a country other than his resident and visiting country. He stays in Nigeria and want to courier is passport to Angola for Shengen visa. Your advice is welcome. |

He can travel ,but he should not borad the plane from Nigeria ,he should go to ghana or lome ,but he should be ready for questions,because you must have a residence permit in angola before you get get that visa expect the country,s embassy is not in Nigeria.Mind you getting angola visa is tougher than the shengen sef.so goodluck |

It is not E u visa ,its an agreement between some eu members to allow free movement of people and goods and services,the motive is trade related.Norway is not an e.u member but shengen state,swithzerland is not EU but shengen state.some e.u countries are not shengen |

Fogman: He wil run into trouble and may get his passport seized, if there is no stamp on his passport showing that he has travelled to Angola b4 then his Schengen visa is questionable |

It is not possible to obtain a visa from another country if: [list] [li]the country's embassy is in your country of origin. you are not a resident of that country[/li] [li][/li] [/list] So, if the embassy is not in your country or you are a resident of that country you wish to obtain the visa then you wont have any problem flying from anywhere. |

he must first travel to Angola or better still put stamp from naija airport departure and Angola airport arrival, if there is even any opportunity for him to get the visa there. |
