Ever gotten nervous on a first date? It is normal for most people, especially for beginners. We barely know our date and will not want anything to ruin the date. So all we do is to impress them. The truth is that this nervousness is one of the things that can always ruin the first date most of the time.
It is advisable to be confident on a first date. Remember that there is no second chance to make the first impression. Here are some of the things you should never do on a first date in order to attract a second one.
Neglecting your table manners.
Being conscious of your manners in the first date is crucial. It is not good when the way you chew foods irritates your date. Please avoid talking when you have something in mouth or picking your teeth. Try as much as you can to show that you are a respectable person.
Avoid distraction
When on a first date, avoid any form of distraction. Stop looking around and don’t focus more on your phone. It clearly shows your date that He/She is not your priority at that moment. PHUBBING (being more interested in what is happening on your phone rather than what is happening in your surrounding) can be very annoying, you are less likely to have another date with someone if you lacked interest in the first date.
