With the way political system is structured in Nigeria, the guy could have started his political career either as a senatorial candidate or Governorship candidate. From there, they can announce themselves to Nigerians. The likes of Buhari and Atiku, name them , did not just begin their political struggle as presidential candidate. Like Sowore and other young candidates you know, they are just in the race not to win the election, except you want to deceive them
