RockHard:
Technically, the CJN has only been suspended not removed. He should go defend himself and if found guilty he can get back his erstwhile position. Being CJN is not his father's property.

shut up.

what powers does he have to suspend the CJN? where is he getting that power from?

Exactly the point....
Just like they applauded Emir Sanusi's suspension
They must not wail against this.
They must also applaud the suspension of a corrupt judge!

This is why I said the judiciary is very silly. Why leave grey areas for politicians to exploit in the judiciary? Why not fight to have it amended to cover all areas? When they are as corrupt as the politicians how will they be proactive.

The ousted CJN is corrupt . Buhari took advantage of a loophole in a wrong way. Shikena.

All these well aligned constitutional provision for the appointment and disengagement of a CJN does not apply to the tyrannical govt Nigeria have today.

Their working manual is the ad hoc constitution of the presidency kitchen cabal which promotes judicial anarchy, impunity, brigandage and abuse of the rule of law/due process.

Why would PMB appoint a Northerner as the new CJN, are there no qualified people in the South. Buhari should not allow nepotism ruin his Govt and chances of winning 2019 elections.

The truth is the most senior is usually recommended to take over.

However this doesn't seem to be the case with the police where the IG is virtually handpicked and all officers much senior to the IG have to be retired to make him the most senior officer.

Alot of things are very very wrong with this country

BelovedofLord:
Buhari Suspends CJN Walter Onnoghen, Appoints Tanko Muhammed As Acting CJN.

The Drama is unfolding gradually.......................

IS NIGERIA NOW A HOUSE OF TRAGIC COMEDY

It's so very disheartening, that this kind of trash could take place in the 21st century in a contraption called Nigeria.

Whilst, younger nations around the World are making meaningful impact in growing their economy and bettering the lot of their citizens, we are here burying our own, day in day out, as if burying was the sole responsibility of the Government!

Wherever anyone that had a hand in the bringing together of these diverse ethnic Nationalities to form the contraption called Nigeria are, let the good Lord Yeshua, pay them their deserved wages!

Anyway, the new dawn is just moments away.

And, mind you I'm not talking about any event of February.

Do think about it.

Shalom.

Don't get it twisted.

Only the NJC can suspend a judicial officer.

Many pushing this narrative are closet Buharists. Don't be like them.

Nigeria will win

Posterity will judge.

If Buhari is lucky he'll still be president by Monday.

The man is a gonner and all those who ally with him.

No protests, no fuss, watch and see. This particular battle has already been won.

Buhari thought he could get us to play into his hands by this move and by mass protests which they will respond with force and postponed elections (Ozekhome chill please) ashay ashay na him carry him hand snap d gauntlet wey go pieces am.

.

Lol... keep ranting!
