A relationship expert in Ghana, Counsellor George Lutterodt has stated that Ashawo work is a business women can do to help eradicate poverty.

Explaining what can be used to classify a woman as an Ashawo, he stated that any woman who has had sexual intercourse outside of marriage is an Ashawo.

Counsellor George Lutterodt went on to state that any woman doing Ashawo work but is still broke must be an ugly woman. He advised such women to improve their beauty because beautiful women earn better doing the business.
