These are a bunch of idiots the NBA, they should be the one canvassing for the removal of the CJN since the man admitted to violation of the statue and law that he had sworn to uphold. Rather, they gang up to support illegality. What a shame 3 Likes 1 Share |

dolphinife: Don't mind the shameless ones among them. Since their head, ex-CJN, it made it easy for them to scale thru their corrupt practices. No wonder all criminal cases by top politicians r being won by defendant. Same pole will still say PMB is not fighting corruption that he should show evidence of successful case. Yet, they are the ones creating clog in d wheels of progress. PMB should suspend as much as he can. Even d senate should be scrapped. This is time we should demand for scrapping of Senate. We need just one house. #istandwithPMB God bless PMB God bless FRN 5 Likes 1 Share |

Staro: The Honourable Court in Nwaogwugwu v. President F.R.N. (2007) ALL FWLR (Pt. 358) 1327 at 1356, paras D - F (CA), held that the National Judicial Council is a creation of the Constitution. Its traditional role is as defined by the Constitution and it includes inter alia to make appointments and to exercise disciplinary control over judicial officers. Pls see also, Per GALINJE, J.C.A. in Page 45, paras. E-F, in the case of OPENE v. NJC & ORS. (2011) LPELR-4795(CA) further held that Section 158 (1) of the Constitution has clearly provided that the National Judicial Council (NJC) shall not be subject to the direction and control of any other authority in exercising its power to make appointments or to exercise disciplinary control over judicial officers. |

Timmi: This is Nigeria, sadly, the head of the NBA itself is currently on trial for corruption. Just imagine, The head of the Supre court is on trial for corruption. The head of the NBA is on trial for corruption Many judges are currently on trial for corruption. The Judiciary is part of the corruption tapestry in Nigeria The rot is extra deep deep 4 Likes 1 Share |
