Even after they removed Onoghen and drafted Okon Abang to Abuja. God is great.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja division has adjourned proceedings in the suit seeking the disqualification of President Muhammadu Buhari from participating in the February 16 presidential election till February 7, 2019.

Justice Ahmed Mohammed fixed the date following a request by the plaintiffs’ counsel for time to respond to the second defendant’s counter-affidavit served on him on Thursday evening.

The plaintiffs, Kalu Agu, Labaran Ismail and Hassy El-Kuris, in the suit, are alleging that the President Buhari lied in his Form CF 001 submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), regarding his educational qualification and certificates.

In the suit filed on November 5, 2018, they are therefore seeking an order of the court to disqualifying Buhari from presenting himself and or contesting for president in the 2019 election.

Defendants in the suit filed on behalf of the plaintiff by Okpai Ukiro, has President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and INEC as 1st, 2nd and 3rd defendants respectively.

When the matter was called for hearing, plaintiffs’ counsel, Godwin Haruna, who held brief for Ukpai Ukiro, informed the court that the matter was adjourned at the last sitting to January 21 for the hearing of all pending applications but was further adjourned to today January 31, since the court did not sit.

He, however, said he would be asking the court for a short adjournment to enable him to respond to the second defendant’s notice of preliminary objections which he said was filed on January 31 and served on him around 4.30pm.

Haruna who recalled that the processes were served on the APC since November 21 and they just responded only today, asked the court for a cost of N100k against the APC for foisting the adjournment on the court.

He said the defendant had been in court since but never bothered to file its response.

While counsel to President Buhari, Abdullahi Abubakar, did not object to the request for adjournment, counsel to APC, Tayo Lasaki, who said he was not opposed to the adjournment, however, said he was opposing the request for cost against him.

Lasaki said since the second defendant was challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter, it did not matter when the issue was raised.

He also argued that the request for adjournment was made by the plaintiffs and not him, adding that although the second defendant was appearing in the matter for the first time, they were, however, prepared to go on with the matter if the plaintiffs were ready.

This was probably the reason they removed Onoghen and moved Okon Abang to abuja.

Atiku don't need to win Kano state. He only needs atlist 40% of Kano's votes. That's all. As you know, Kano gave pmb above 1.9million votes in 2015 while PDP got less Dan 250 thousand votes from the region. Now going by kwankwanso's movement in Kano. I can categorically tell you that the APC votes in Kano will just be a little above PDP's Kano votes, that's if APC wins Kano in the first place.

Now let's take a look at Rivers state. The state is predominantly a PDP state. Rivers gave PDP 1.4 million votes in 2015, close to 1.5 million. While APC only got 69 thousand + votes in Rivers.

My point? Apc's strongest state is Kano, while PDP's strongest state is Rivers. Going by recent appenings, PDP will sure get above 25% votes in APC's strongest state which is Kano and APC don't stand a chance in Rivers (PDP's strongest state).... Which is already a win win for PDP. Kano will not produce as much votes it produced for APC in 2015, but Rivers will sure produce more Dan wat it delivered for PDP in 2015, this makes it a win win for PDP.

I rest my case! Politics is all about numbers, and getting more votes from ur opposition's strongest place.

Buhari is not even qualified to be a Local Government Chairman in his state

He must be disqualified from contesting for presidency
If he's not disqualified and he contests, Atiku will serve him his greatest defeat ever

APC should start looking for a new presidential candidate. This was why Buhari handed it to Great Ogboru.
Buhari can't win this certificate case.
Congratulations to Atiku the incoming President.

The court will just rely on present happening to throw out the case. If only WAEC wasn't bought to release that fraudulent certificate to the lifeless one, they would have been expecting something even if small from this case. Now event has overtaken this case.

Buhari is supposed to resign so that the police can investigate this case thoroughly. You can't be a judge in your own case.

Delusion grandnuer grin you believe Pdp will record same performance in Rivers state like 2015 but disagree with apc in kano. recent election in rivers state was a neck to neck battle infact the suspended bye elections by inec in Rivers was won by Apc currently pdp has no senator in Rivers state.
Kwankaso is facing a fierce battle to return to senate with apc fielding a worthy opponent in shekarau who defeated kwankaso as a governor in gubernatorial election 2007.pdp banking on kwankaso to deliver substantial vote in kano is a mere wishful thinking cos his popularity ends in just one constituency out of 3 constituency in kano.
Kwankaso cannot even deliver his constituency on scale of 60% it will be a tough battle for him to return to senate. Forget those red caps , kwankakaso had the most colourful pdp primary campaign but the lizard that sees himself like a crocodile didnot even make top 3 of pdp presidential elections. Kano is a fortress for apc believe me Apc will get more than 2.2 million votes pdp best performance will be 400k votes

Now, do you know the APC will not be fielding candidate for Rivers Election Think about that.

Secondly, I never said PDP will surely win Kano, that's not my point. The fact remains that kwankwanso being in APC in 2015 in Kano, gave APC an edge over PDP in Kano in 2015, but d story isn't dsame now. Believe it or not kwankwanso is a movement in Kano dat will surely give PDP more Dan 30% of votes in Kano which is a win for PDP in kano

there is court case Regards Rivers though it doesnt affect presidential election. If eventually apc didnt get favourable judgement in court before election trust me they will be ruthless in presidential election in Rivers state .recent elections held in rivers have proved pdp is not invisible like they want to us believe. How can a pdp state struggling to win grassroot elections or how do u explain not having a single senator in the national house of assembly. One thing for sure is it will be no 1 million votes for pdp in Rivers. Apc will definitely get required 25% .unlike in 2015.
Regards to kano , it is a bit tricky for kwankaso. His relection is on same say with presidential election what it means is that if buhari wins kano , kwankaso will be swept away by buhari tsunami . cos northerners dont have luxury of voting different candidates in election held same day.it is either buhari or atiku takes it all. Eligible voters in kano is 8millions. By your projection of more than 30% , take for instance pdp get 35% of 8m the it means pdp will record 2.8 millions votes in kano can you see it is a mere wishful thinking. There is no way pdp will get a million votes in kano. So forget that dream of kwankaso dividing buhari votes.
Kwankaso is not a threat to buhari it is the other way round. Buhari is a threat to kwankaso ambition cos northerners dont have luxury of voting two different parties same time. Sai baba is a tsunami.

The votes you saw in Rivers, Akwaibom and Delta in 2015 was majorly because Jonathan who was from South South and a Christian was the one involved. Last election was like a battle between Muslim North and Christian South. There will not be so much gap this time around between them in south South even though I give it to PDP.
