According to Wike, “I don’t think this administration will willingly accept defeat. They should emulate former President Jonathan, who lost elections and accepted the outcome. There was no litigation. He went back home and did not generate crisis.” Wike said Rivers people will not fold their hands and allow the APC Federal Government unleash violence and rig the elections. He “regretted that the Federal Government has caged the judiciary, making it difficult to determine electoral disputes in court,” arguing that the conduct of credible elections rest with security agencies and INEC, adding that once the two agencies act within the law, the polls will be credible. Responding, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Founder of Savannah Centre Council on Peaceful and Violence Free in Nigeria, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, urged stake-holders to work towards peaceful and credible polls. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/01/wike-urges-nigerians-to-vote-out-blame-trading-govt-of-buhari/ 9 Likes

Blame trading?? You are sick, oga Wike. Did PDP not loot and rape our patrimony? Has Buhari not achieved more with less as opposed to PDP that had it all and chose to loot it all? Can PDP ng lay claim to a single landmark project they have overseen in this country? How much did Nigeria have as Foreign Reserves as at the time he took charge?? ($25b) How much is it now? (Over $37b) Aside the Abuja-Kaduna rail which was begun by Obj and which Goodluck was unable to complete in 6.5 years, what other rail systems did the PDP oversee?? Smh.. Y'all were living an import dependent economy and were _stupidly calling it enjoyment. What Nigeria experienced under Buhari was growing pains and obviously, the worst is behind us. Nigeria's economic progress in Buhari's 2nd term with see us experience exponential progress. Bookmark this comment. 4 Likes 1 Share |
