Even a day old baby can never measure 1.6CM .
your measurements is in metre and not centimeter

ClassicJohn:
Where did you do your screening?
And how was your height measured? Did they use a tape rule or what?

If they used tape, converting to cm may be where the problem is (If you are above the 1.64cm that was measured).

Did you confirm if 1.64cm was recorded for you on the sheet bearing your name?

For those who had theirs' at Enugu (those from the southeastern part), we measured by feet. There is a marked wall where all applicants measured their height with the supervision of an NSCDC personnel.

Commandant-General (CG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ahmed Audi, has said 6,500 candidates have been shortlisted for final screening of its 2019/2020 recruitment.
Addressing a joint press conference with the Secretary of the board of Immigration, Fire, Civil Defence and Corrections Service, Aisha Rufai, at the weekend in Abuja, the CG said 5,000 people would be given employment from the 6,500 shortlisted.

Audi, who disclosed that about 1.5 million persons began the initial recruitment process in 2019, said COVID-19 pandemic was reason the exercise was put on hold, until a go-ahead was given by the board’s Chairman and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.

“We wish to inform all prospective applicants that sat for the Computer Based Test that 6,500 candidates out of 53,116 have been shortlisted to attend the final screening of credentials and physical fitness verification.

They will be invited via SMS from August 2 to 25, 2021,” he said. He advised applicants to check the application portal: http://cdfipb. careers from July 20, 2021 for their names, screening locations and guidelines for the recruitment exercise.

They should print out their invitation slip without which they will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise. Applicants are to present academic qualifications, indigeneship certificate, birth certificate, professional certificates and other documents, and will need to have specified chest and height measurement.

He said those with K legs, flat foot, gross malfunctioned teeth, hunchback, obesity, deformity, hearing impairment, speech impediment, body tattoos, eyesight defects and drug addiction stand disqualified.

He asked successful applicants to appear at the zonal screening centres in white T-shirt, shorts and canvass. The exercise is free. Six centres have been chosen, with one for each region.

They are Kaduna (North West), Bauchi (North East), Nasarawa (North Central), Enugu (South East), Abeokuta (South West) and Benin (South South).

PoliticsRe: New Minimum Wage: Falana Reveals Why It’s Illegal For Governors To Determine Amo by 4nynath: 9:56pm On Nov 04, 2018
SarkinYarki:
80 percent of Nigerians states are not viable at all add that with an overnlaoted unproductive needless civil service which is actually a welfare program and not a job you have many states currently unable to even pay to the current 18 minimum wage and still the outlook to Nigeria Macro economy hasn't improved significantly in 3 years yet people expect the minimum wage to increased ..if governors are can't pay the 18k till date is it 30 thousand they will pay ( do you know 80 percent of Nigerians states have never paid the 18k ever).

Well I am of the valid opinion that increasing minimum wage at this point will in no way improve standard of living or purchasing power because it will lead to a stampede inflation instead which will word all the intent of the increase ..

There are better and easier ways the govt can use to improve standard of living and improve the the purchasing power of the worker and minimum wage increase is not one of them

Sometimes people talk without been virtual , but government can increase school fees abi? They can increase tax and increase hospital bills ? But increment of salary will now be the only one to cause inflation while a senator is collecting 36million monthly that has no any effect on inflation. I think you are also embezzling money plus your salary also if at all you are working I. Government paras tetra

Imagine, let me ask you guys a question. What about a graduate who earn 18k as salary can you clasify such person as employed fellow? May I ask you what exactly is the definition of your employed youth. Those people talking about not been honest, I just pray you fall victim of those who are under employed so that you will know the implications of what is coming out of your mouth . What can 30k buy in a month for single man talk less of married. Have a rethink less you fall victim of loosing your so called job
