Cesc came out with all guns blazing saying the club needs to make up there minds what they want http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6884832,00.html Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has insisted that the club must decide whether their aim is to win trophies or develop young players. The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday following Dirk Kuyt's 102nd minute penalty, as Arsene Wenger's side missed the chance to close the gap on leaders Manchester United, as their hopes of winning the Premier League title took another blow. And come the end of the season it will be six years since Arsenal last won a trophy, if they fail to leapfrog United, and Fabregas is adament that the Gunners need to start winning silverware. "It's true that Arsenal have got a reputation of a team who play beautiful football, but don't win anything," Fabregas told Don Balon. "We won the FA Cup when I got here and we reached the Champions League final. However, we haven't been successful since 2007, despite playing good football. "That's when you realise that it doesn't work. We were in four competitions at one stage of the season, but we're still empty handed," he added. "We have to make a decision whether we want to develop young players or whether we want to win trophies." With his future constantly the subject of specualtion, Fabregas' comments will set alarm bells ringing among Arsenal fans, but the 23-year-old admitted that while he would be open to a move away from the club, he would definitely not consider joining another English team, as his compatriot Fernando Torres did this season. "I don't feel like I have an obligation to stay at Arsenal," he continued. "It's not like it's now or never for me to leave the club. There's still plenty of time. It's all about patience and waiting until the right moment arrives. "Who says I'll become a key player at my new club? I'm very happy at a personal level right now. I've spoken with [Carles] Puyol who told me that he didn't win anything until he turned 26.” About Torres’ move to Chelsea, he added: “The thing is it happened so quickly I did not expect it. I did not imagine Torres leaving England or that he would leave in mid-season. I think it was a good decision.” But what the Spaniard dimissed the idea of a move to rivals Chelsea. “Me? Paint pictures? I would not paint anything," said Fabregas. “I cannot see it. If I leave Arsenal one day I would not join another English team. I am quite sure. "Life is all about patience and working hard," he continued. "[Arsene] Wenger is the boss and he decides what happens. I still have a contract with Arsenal and he has every right to decide on my future at the club. He's always willing to listen to me though and communicates very openly." And the Gunners captain reflected fondly on the beginning of his Arsenal career, and 'The Invincibles' side who went a whole season unbeaten, as well as the pressures of being the leader of a young team. "We really had a great team when I broke into the first team," he added. "'The Invincibles' had won the league title without losing a single game. I got a lot of playing time and I feel like I played a part in the 49 games unbeaten record that the team set. "There's no doubt that it was the best team I've ever played in. I really developed a lot that year. "I even wonder every now and then whether I wasn't a better player back then. "It was really impressive to be part of that winning team," he continued. "If you made a mistake, there was always someone to make it up for you. "Things have changed a lot since then and there's a lot more pressure now. Everybody's looking at me when I play a bad game. "I feel the responsibility to perform for the fans, especially now I'm wearing the captain's armband. [Robin] Van Persie and I are the only ones left from that earlier generation and we're happy to take our responsibility. "It's important for a team to have a good combination between younger and experienced players. I'm very happy that I was part of a great team where I learned from the best. "The young players are now looking toward me, but people shouldn't forget that I'm only 23. I was lucky to get the chance to work with some very experienced players, but it's more complicated now. "I'm not saying one situation is better than the other though, but there were more players to look up to before. Players who had won trophies and helped you develop. "Just have a look at the situation of [Jack] Wilshere and you'll realise that things are different now. He is a great player. I love him and he is going to be a star. He is very strong for his age and I wish I had that strength. He will be a great player as he continues to mature.” Fabregas also praised his manager, Arsene Wenger for the stability he had brought to the north London club, but also contrasted the difference between England and Spain. “If a coach in Spain, like [Unai] Emery, [Jose] Mourinho or [Pep] Guardiola doesn’t win anything for three years, he’s out. “Things are different here though. The manager is an intelligent guy and the club really appreciate what he does for Arsenal. The team always reaches the Champions League, fights for trophies right until the end and is financially very stable. “That’s very important for the chairman, even though there will probably come a moment where he’s had enough if we don’t win anything.” |
It's amazing what I have read so far, ok if gay people are born gay what about Pedophilia's are they born so has well because it's also a sexually preference |
did you read my note or just the subject |
One of the new things i am told by gay people is that they are born gay, just like i was born straight which makes it hard to ask them to change there sexual preference, but then i ask myself was i really born straight, if i was, then was i born to like fat people or was i born to like slim girls or big boobs or big ass, where people who sleep with children also born that way and the answer is no, we all choose to be what we want to be, if there is anything God gave us that is free of choice, i choose to be straight i choose to date and have sex with slim girls with big ass and not fat once, i have gay friends and don't mind them being gay, but must the west try and force there beliefs on us, calling us all kind of names because we are not open to there way of life, where is democracy they preach where we have freedom to choose what we want, in Africa, we dont want gay so pls leave it at that |

@buzugee apart from big grammar you failed to make sense of anything really, our people are there because there governments are working to make there country a better place, do you have any idea how many people travel to Libya to work, did you watch the news to see how many workers left does that look like a country like yours where there is no job or light which they have in Libya, so what wealth are you talking about, that it is OK for the western world to come and destroy a country like they did to Iraqi and kill thousand of people for there selfish needs are you that blind |
@justwise am use you have cnn if you dont they have a website www.cnn.com or www.bbc.co.uk, you need to read more or better still mention one country the us or its friends has gone to that they dont have oil, am not against the us as a country dont get me wrong am just against the war that will kill innocent lives because of there selfish need how are they different from Gaddafi |
how him go talk because he has nothing to say, |
Men are most of you just plain stupid or what, most of you just talk without thinking am sorry to be insulting you guys but God have had it up to my head level, JESUS, first of all what Gaddafi has done is wrong don't get me wrong but if you think the western world is getting involved because they want to free people from Libya you are f--king sick, the same western world that went to Iraqi to destroy the weapons of mass destruction which till today we are yet to see, the only thing we see is there companies going there to get contracts to rebuild what they have destroyed, there companies taking oil and putting in a government that would allow them do whatever they want, there has been on going fights in order parts of Africa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKG9kJeLxP8 why are they not there why Libya simple because of the oil, so open your eyes before you open your mouth |

wow nice reading like most people i feel the problem like most people say is the benefit, while you find loads of non eu on it you will find dat most of the english people also do not work, the only reason most of them are complaining is because the money they are receiving is getting low cause of increase of people on benefits, the uk makes millions in tax from these so called immigrants and so would do nothing against those who are already in only for those who want to come in, am happy about the review of the benefit system as it would be a wake up call for loads of people to get up there lazy ass and work, |
i have read the below news and saw his performance at the world cup, for me i think this is one of the problems we have in nigeria, when someone who does not even make the bench at his club comes to the national team and expects to be treated like a king and when the coach does not dance to his tune then he is a bad coach http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/sportsonthehour/2010/june/24/sportsbreak-24-06-2010-001.htm |

i would like to say that i used to attend christ embassy and i do no more but that has nothing to do with the fact that the church was bad or anything infact i would ave become a Pastor now if i was still there so you know how far i have gone, i remember what one of my pastors told me, you find all kinds of people in the church, you find thief's, prostitutes but God wants them all cause that is where they hear the message that God loves them, for me my life at Christ embassy has helped me in every area of my life and i am yet to find anything wrong with them, you can not blame the Pastor for every bad person in his church, if he says steal money from where you can steal it from and bring it to me them you can blame him, how many of you will take the blame for an adult child you have taught to do the right thing but always does the opposite for the person who started this topic you guys really need to know who he is and what he stands for b/4 you jump on his band wagon http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/huhonline.com for the site that was said to have lots of hits http://nuwaubianfacts.com/index.htm and dat is the guys beliefs |

i understand you sam and have been in the same situation myself i had a girl i loved so much that i financed her and her daughter for the 3 years of the 4 years that we went out, things started getting bad when Job's where no longer coming and also reading meanings into my female friends, i begged this girl for like one year and a half only for her to just make fun of me and told me to move on that she had moved on, i later found out that she told her family i never gave any money to her and her daughter in the long run i moved on and meet a new girl but we still kept in touch that is my ex whenever she needs to use me for her own gain she will call, when i told her i was traveling to the uk, it became another story, she was now telling me how much she loved me and wanted us married, i asked her what was i to do with the person who had been with me thur all the problems and stayed with me to help me out, she said i should dump her can you imagine, well i told her to her face that if i was not going to the uk she would never have come back to her and to finish the matter i introduced her to my girl who was pregnant for me already, men the joy on my face when she saw my wife is too much for me, it took away all the pain she put me thur, my guy if you had not travelled believe me she would never have come back to you, LEAVE HER ALONE RUN AWAY |
i just read that he was invited for our next match and he has not showed up fine he said he has a flu (like he never always have something to say) but he has been told to come so the doctors can check on him, i guess we ave to wait to know if he will turn up or not, but must we go about this every time, for me it is clear the boy does not want to play for nigeria, there is not fire in his belly when he plays for us, why not call people who are begging to make a name and play for there country must we always call people who don't want to play for us |
