NICOGRAVITY: When will our fellow Nigerians stop painting us BLACK? Are we not BLACK enough? I remember working in a warehouse with NEXT, a white guy approached me, asking me where I come from originally, I told him am Nigerian, he became so excited, and he was asking me for credit card numbers, laptops, phones etc. Saying a lot of Nigerians sales such to him. I was sooooo soooo embarrassed that I went to the toilet to weep. But I gave the young man the warning of his life, threatened to call the police on him, and he gently walked away. Will never forget that day in my life. Shame on you, you are telling us you cried?? What Happened to your sense of humor? |

Ofodirinwa: They're both stupid, and i'm beginning to wonder if this is all we have in brain power. How can you deport someone from a place they drove to freely, they'll just drive back.
How can you present 'lets make other places more attractive' as a plan to decongest Lagos? Will the Lagos State government halt their own development so that others will surpass them? Will the businesses in Lagos stop hiring? Will people stop investing there even though it's the best market in the country?
People invest in PH, Enugu, Makurdi etc. But for every 1 business that goes to these places 20 go to Lagos. Lagos is now building Eko Atlantic. Will we tell them to stop? Will we build one in Ibadan, Kano, Katsina and Uyo just to make sure Lagos isn't too attractive? Will he increase the budget of Non-Lagosian states?
It's obvious to all of us that we would be advantaged by other placed being as strong as Lagos. This isn't an 'idea'. We would be advantaged if we call have N1 billion naira as well. Just a functioning seaport in calabar and Lagos will be free; how can a country as big as Nigeria have one seaport? Lagos is not even a liveable city. |

The picture above is from Yesterday's Global leaders conference organised by Obama and guess what, with all the world leaders invited and present, PMB sat at the high table with the 2 most powerful men in the world. UN SG and President Obama at the high table.
Who sits at the high table? Worthy and very powerful people.
You can pay too much attention to these anti Nigeria, hate peddling and disgruntled elements.. They came out of the womb with hate and bigotry and this is their only portion in life.
They even hate themselves. Why won't he sit on a hot seat when his country is on fire |

liberty300: Lol...
Here's the list here, according to none oil IGR
1. Lagos (technically not a city)
2. Onitsha
3. Aba
4. Nnewi
5. Ogun state (Abeokuta): the steel industry So where is portharcourt? Remove Aba and onitsha there and stop your tribal foolishness. Come to the island in lagos; then you Will see a different livable city. I am not igbo or Yoruba; I am not tribalistic; I personally do not think any state in nigeria belong to anyone; it belongs to everyone. I can decide to move to any part of the country I desire to settle down and nothing anyone can do about it. |

HungerBAD: Universally, anything up to $10.000, even if the post erroneously said it's $5000, not reported to the Customs at the Airport is an offense.
This is not a tribal thing.
Those Trying To Make this a witch hunt thing, are full of mischief.
All the traders needed to do was declare their MONEY.
Trying to sneak a large amount of money out of the country, knowingly or not, is an offense.
They broke the law, and there are consequences for that. And remember, ignorance is not an excuse before the law, incase they claim they did not know they were breaking the law. So customs now operates in market places. Get over yourself bro; nobody is saying it's a tribal thing; it is just wrong to invade market guys and seize money; can't they keep dollars again? |
