Which electricity?

80% to 90% of shops connected don't use the light due to outrageous charges and inconsistency. My shop included.

Enough of these celebration of mediocrity

Larfage in Ewekoro generates over 60MW for its cement plant.

Buhari and his minions will not allow us drink water because of 9MW Perkins gas generator.

I though am the only one that noticed, it's just a generator... Sooner than later, it will become story

Which affordable?
light that charges N50 per electric bulb and N150 per electric fan. calculate if you have 10 bulbs and 3 fans and check how much you'll be paying daily and tell me how it is affordable.

by the way, since Jibril came to Aba, the light has gone off till date. Even Heritage Bank inside the market that has no generating set have ditched the one chance light.

Keep quiet, I know people like you will still come to discredit the project. Perhaps you might be one of people who want the power free to be supplied to them

Dangote in Apapa, Flour Mills, Guiness etc generate over 50MW each for their plants

That thing they commissioned in Aba is a normal Perkins generator but uses gas instead of AGO/Petrol.

Nothing really spectacular. Only in Nigeria will a president be commissioning such and claiming it's an achievement.

I even heard it is Ariaria market taders that contributed to pay for the project.

Every single progress should be acknowledged and encouraged.

We had a government that that spent $16bn on invisible light. Yet no one complained

Good move by all the individual involved, however the report is not complete.

How many hours per day, or is it uninterrupted?
How are customers paying per kilowatt hour or electricity?
It was said that it powers 37,000 shops, is this simultaneously?

Anyone in the house can tell us more.
