You can only be one if you are objective, and have a definite direction. Buhari was barely 10 minutes into office when you did not let him be.

Once you never criticized the kleptomaniac Government of Jonathan, and years later, you are still at the same spot screaming and shouting, while not achieving anything.

Change should start with you first.

Saying 10 minutes is being extremely generous.

Since the very moment Jega announced Buhari as the winner thèy have refused to let him be.

Court orders indeed. So if any court just give order that the president should be removed it should be obeyed without regards to the constitution just because a court ordered. Nigeria is finished really.
When they say, some of you are lazy youth, you were among those shouting then.
Now, let me educate. There are 3 recommendations by which CJN could be retired according to Constitution

1 If he/she attends the retirement age/or death
2 Or by approval by National Assembly through 2/3 members
3 By recommendations from the Nigeria Judiciary council.

In Onnoghen case, his retirement was recommended by the NJC, so therefore learn before you come on line to expose your ignorance

It is finished. This is the end of Nigeria as we know it. A very bad precedence has been set. This can never go down well with our democracy as subsequent Presidents will use this as a precedence to remove any chief judge that doesn't bend to its will.
Its official, Nigeria is now a banana republic under the vice grip of an evil dictator and his cabal of blood sucking vultures.
wailing at its best

That boy is one of the sycophants here in the South West. We ain't surprised, Bible has foretold us, there are many who prefer Barabbas, the thief to Jesus Christ. So his case is not new to us again

Just imagining what will happen if after all the scheming and machinations of the apc, and they lost the elections by over 6million votes.
Will the election be declared inconclusive or what's the next course of action. Because any good strategist always has a fall back plan, if all there scheming is focused on victory at the polls then there's a problem undecided

Easier way to detect someone who has no idea about voting

The United States government and the European Union equally condemned Onnoghen’s suspension saying the move was in violation of the constitutional requirement for the removal of CJN

Liars . USA AND EU never condemned the suspension of the former CJN. Stop telling lies

comos:
The National Judicial Council (NJC) will meet to give its verdict after hearing from suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen and the acting CJN, Ibrahim Muhammad, on Monday.

The NJC, which is constitutionally responsible for the discipline of senior judicial officers, had scheduled the meeting after giving the two senior members of the council seven days to respond to petitions brought against them.

While Mr Onnoghen is accused of false asset charge, his counterpart was indicted of constitutional violation for submitting himself to be sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari after Mr Onnoghen was suspended by the president, without approval from the NJC, in January.

The petition indicting Mr Onnoghen was written by members of a group, Resource Centre For Civil Education, while the allegation against Mr Muhammad was written by a lawyer, Olisa Agbakoba, and another group, Centre for Justice and Peace Initiative.

Confirming the meeting on Sunday, the NJC spokesperson, Soji Oye said the meeting is a follow-up of the one which resulted in the January 29 directive by the NJC.

If both officers are found liable by the council after today’s meeting, the consequence may include the appointment of a new CJN for the country.

Though i don't know much about the judiciary system.... both should step aside or retire both.

The Acting CJN Mohammed shouldn't be the CJN.. he came in through the back door.. he should be sent backing the next after him should take over... No long story.. if this judiciary really have head.!!!

l get tired of this over petting one section of this country is having.

It will be wrong to ask him to retire based on mere allegations. There is already a case instituted against him.
He should step aside while the matter is judged so he doesn’t influence the case.
If found guilty, he is dismissed. If innocent, he is reinstated.

Either way, Muhammad should be penalized for presenting himself to be sworn in.

By the way, I bother less about Innoghen as a person.

Taking bribes for judgement is not what makes a banana republic?

Not stepping aside when caught is actually the hallmark of democracy?

My man, I care not if onnoghen is corrupt or not, that is for the courts to decide. My concern is that one lunatic in The APC or the PDP will now seize on this precedence to attack and bully the judiciary into submission in the foreseeable future.
Does it not concern you that a man like Buhari that surrounds himself with known criminals, cherry picks on which court judgement to obey or disregard is now the same person claiming to sanitize the judiciary?
The evil you support today will later turn around to work against you then who would you run to?

Actually you do care.

This is tacit support for corruption and you know it.

Forget the grammar.

You ignore Onnoghen unilaterally postponing the very body that can summon him then you go on about tyranny because it suits your preconceived bias.

To hell with whosoever.

Even if he did that he is only postponing his doomsday. The NJC has procedures to handle such issues. That is why the law is an ass but must be obeyed.
Under no circumstances must the executive have the powers to remove a chief justice. If not our democracy becomes a dictatorial one and this will not end up well for both APC and PDP cos you don't know who will be in power tomorrow.

Has the NJC come out to regularise its procedure or are you inventing stuff as you go along?
