Both are really good. But one is a 7 seatter d other is for 5......if this is not a consideration, then Lexus.

Bros go for the Rx330. Second hand value is better than Acura. Everything about the Lexus is better than the Acura. I'm an engineer and I have 22 years experience

Am used to the two mention vehicles and I can tell you conviniently that the Acura Mdx its the best.

Maintenance cost and accessibility to mechanical parts, I suggest the Lexus 330

The Lexus is better. First of all, that transmission (gear) on Lexus is more superior to that of the Acura. Second, the body of the Lexus is more durable than the Acura. You'll know this by looking on the road for these cars that are currently in use. You'll see far more better looking Lexus than their Acura counter parts. This means when selling, more people will be willing to buy the Lexus than the Acura.

I have driven both vehicles here is my verdict
Reliability: both are reliable but the lexus is more reliable.
Drive: MDX hands down. Handles better. Accelerates better even if its the V6. Has more power
Fuel economy: lexus takes it but not significantly thou. Unless its the V8 mdx
Luxury: MDX hands down
Practicality: MDX those extra seats can come in handy
Maintenance: not much difference but lexus is cheaper

Personally i'll go for the MDX without hesitation.


Ps: majority of the lexus rx on nigerian roads are FWD while the MDX is AWD

For Nigeria road and case study,kindly pick Lexus.
MDX is good but our mechanics here will mess up the wiring. Same with the Lexus but it's still far more manageable then MDX.

However if Ure not a maintenance person just go for the Rx330 peacefully.

I use acura, and will always go for acura over Lexus. Parts everywhere and affordable, confident when on wheels as am always on tour. Acura for life.

If you are buying your first car, do RX330. Easier to fix.

But if you know much about vehicle maintenance, then try MDX.

Check carcomplaintsdotcom to see what complaints both models have.

But remember, Lexus is made by Toyota and it is tough to beat cars made by Toyota when it comes to reliability and low maintenance. Plus Lexus is always fun to drive

Well based on the fact that my dad used the previous model Acura MDX for about 8 years with no issue at all I will say you should go for Acura . The previous model interior was nice not to talk of this new one sef.

The RX330 is not a match for the 2008 MDX.

Even the 2008 RX350 doesn't meet it. Will give the 2008 MDX like 90% A+, and the 2008 RX350 like 80% A-. Both are very good but the MDX just edges out overall.

Ok, what of now, 2019 RX350 VS 2019 MDX, well the MDX still wins grin. The MDX interior is super dope, but the RX350 exterior is more attractive. But like they say, every malam to his kettle, the choice is yours smiley
