Factfinder1:True talk. But think about these things. 1) There is World Albinism Day. It is used in creating awareness that Albinos should not be seen as 2nd class humans. If you are a normal human, you won't be a racist to them everyday. So why was only a day kept for this? 2) There is Mother's and Father's Day. A rational human would celebrate his/her mother's love and father's sacrifice everyday. So why was a only a day kept for this? 3) There is World Aids' Day where WHO and the Gov't share free condoms and give public lectures on HIV/AIDS. Don't we have the right to protect ourselves everyday? So why was a day kept for this? The list of 'celebrated days' are endless. Now understand this: a day is kept to create awareness about different 'things'. It is left for you as a rational human to continue for the remaining 364 days. |
