This is laughable, the whole world is watching , how unserious Nigeria can be,
A lot of people have prepared for this election, many have traveled to another destination to go and vote , only to be told that election has been postponed

What an incompetent man Yakubu is...

The elections have been postponed by INEC.
They have been shifted by one week.
INEC suffered hitches in delivery of materials to some states. And stakeholders in the affected states cried to the heavens.
But trust conspiracy theorists and rumour mongers. Scavengers of the putrid and the sensational. They have gone footloose and tongue free.
They are already insinuating that INEC postponed the elections because the ruling party is jittery.

The federal government did not request a postponement of the general elections. INEC has admitted responsibility for its logistical problems.
The president has gone to Daura to vote.
Let the opposition not convulse. The ghosts it conjured 4 years ago have not been resurrected .
In 2015 , Jonathan's government asked INEC to postpone the elections. It said INEC was not ready. INEC bluntly refused. Then the PDP govt announced that it could not guarantee security for INEC. So INEC was forced to postpone the election by 6 weeks.
So 2015 postponement is the sort that can be attributed to jitteriness. Not this.
In 2011, the INEC under president Jonathan postponed the national assembly elections on the day of the elections. The postponement was announced at about 11 am, when voting had already commenced.
INEC cited logistical obstacles.

That postponement resembles the current one. Last minute logistical challenges that could have impacted on the credibility of the elections.
The 2011 postponement was not ordered by president Jonathan. He ordered that of 2015.
Conspiracy theorists usually have no time for uncomfortable truths. All they seek is to disseminate suspicion and paint the country red with wild rumours.
They must enjoy the one week of respite granted them by INEC. The Atikulated have one more week to bask in the sun.
Their fate has been sealed. Grief is coming back soon.

INEC Chairman mentally sick?

This Postponement at the last minute requires throwing the INEC Chairman into a Psychiatrist hospital.
No sane person in his position can postpone election at the last hour, after four years of planning.
