A Pastor with ECWA, in the Bishara 3 Jenta Area in Jos, Plateau State, Pastor Albarka Sukuya, connived with a syndicate and faked his kidnap on numerous occasions, while collecting ransom from church members.

The Police Command in Plateau has arrested the pastor who allegedly kidnapped himself several times, before collecting ransom from members of his congregation.

DSP Alfred Alabo, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Jos.

Alabo said that the suspect was arrested by the police in November 2022.
