Anybody that want to leave Nigeria should do so quickly without hesitation if you have the resources.

I relocated out of that hell hole 1 year and 6 months ago through student visa to Sweden. I now have work permit after study, that is the best decision I have ever made in my life.

That's the MAJOR requirement to getting a study visa there.

This is just to encourage you that if u invest rightly, Nigeria ais the best place to be, ppl complain abt Nepa, but I run gen every time for my comfort and I am about to complete my 4 bedroom flat somewhere in Lagos (remote place though).... You can re-apply to the US if you still have it in mind. Just yesterday, I heard of somebody who was denied for 3 times and was given on the 4th trial. Though, she prayed HARD.

I wouldn't advise u to come with such money to the US things her kindly of expensive here in the US except u have a green card to work legitimately but leaving on B1 visa is not worth a thing becose all your money will get finish on bills and u will left on hussling becose u can't get an engineering field work here in the US without going to the college, which pretty much expensive and after u can't even be sure of getting a green card without getting married to a citizen that comes with another form of expenses......i would rather encourage u process a Canadian visa u at least sure of resident permit after your college program ....mind u if u have kids and wife already in nigeria is not worth the stress conning to the US. I presently leave in Chicago have two kids by a citizen, who has refused to get married becose she found out about my kids in Nigeria and wife, so take my advise and don't put yourself in any bad situation. U have better chances in Canada than the US and also u can do the car business even from canada.

Brother I need your help. How do I get Info as regards Sweden pls. I've a Masters already, don't mind opting for another or say a P.hD.

Honestly, the large number of Nigerians emigrating to western countries, especially Canada is becoming alarming.

This has even made some of us that decided to stay to look stupid, foolish and insane.

A large chunk of middle and upper class, most of my colleagues and contemporaries have all left.

But Mehn, it is still a tough decision for me and I always seems to gravitate towards staying. I like the freedom and my job.

My major concern is just the insecurity.

As for my kids, I just had to ensure that I had all my kids abroad in case. That was the decision I took even before my wedding and it worked fine.

Wishing all that wants to flee safe janded, yankeed and canadeed.
