buzzcypha: It's called a decking void. It is used to create a high ceiling and open room till the top of the house. People can stand on the gallery upstairs and look down into the void to see if their visitors are the ones they are expecting before deciding to come down or not.  Welcome. 2 Likes

This decking has been completely cast, boys moved to another site while we await for this decking slab to cure for a few days before we return. We are going to be pouring water on the is decking daily, except when it rains. We expect the whole team to be back later this week. 1 Like
