It must hurt that despite all you were asked to withdraw, I can almost feel your pain.

From my experience it is not in reading alone that we pass, in my first year I read too but ended with a 2.2; to highlight the difference I took conscious steps to know what was being taught personally;
i.e I took reading as a daily task and used the school's free WiFi to watch videos of processes that had been taught ( I have my Bachelor degree in Microbiology).

Do the best you can do in this new chance and don't consider your academic past, I have seen geniuses rise up from the dust.

In having sex with multiple people, consider your safety and emotional health. Sex is never really casual most times.

Not allowing the school to pass through me.
Everything happened really fast for and getting admission at a very young age and as the first born,i felt this enormous responsibility to set a good tone for my younger ones,mehn the pressure was real.
I went hard on my academics;i was all about the library...
I had beleif in God,i wasnt religious at all.
Am in my finals now,will be graduating with first class by God's grace,this final year i would try things,go out more and maybe bang one or two undergrads just for the records.

Lmao, I can totally relate. Mine wasn't really relationship, I was young. 15 when I got in, 19 at graduation. So, I had this level of paranoia. Everyone just seemed older and a bit too wild and fast-paced for me.

I preferred keeping to myself, I am not anti-social though. Just not into plenty outdoor activities... We go dey alright last last.

One of my uncles got admitted to university, read and still failed to the point that he withdrew after the first year.

He had to try again, got admission to a different course...which he graduated in, and which has enabled him to work for many big companies, and earn a decent, and sometimes big cash. Had he stayed in the original course, I doubt he would have had such opportunities that he has now.

Sometimes the course is not meant to be. Consider this an opportunity for a bigger course...and don't regret reading.The lessons you learn from your failures, even the meaningless ones can be turned into stepping stones for your future sucess.

My friend's uncle was expelled in his final year final semester for exam malpractices.

He had to start all over again

The brainiest guy in the year I finished in (I had an extra) was involved in exam malpractices with another brain.

They were helping a lazy student write a paper outside the exam room. The guy passed with flying colours.

This impressed the lecturer taking the course and asked to see the student that did so well.

When the student appeared before him, he remarked that he had never seen him in his class before. The lecturer decided to pass the exam papers to the HOD.

The HOD immediately recognised the handwriting of the brilliant student and the rest is history. All those involved were expelled

One biggest regret was not delving deep into programming walahi. I would have been top notch dude in I.T field but las las I became Artificial intelligence tech guy with my python and R.
When I came out I even regretted what I studied(Yeye Biochemistry)..because to earn big you need to swim in ocean filled with computers..We thank God for where we are today..

I regret not taking seriously,my assignments and C.A.T and only depending on exams in my first 2 years in school. Messed up my grades big time.

I had so many experience n things I did n d one I did not do.
One of it is class,library, church continuously.
Two ,I never had a boy friend all tru my school.
I just believe DAT non of dose guys can feed me,or even give me wot I want.
D funny part of it is DAT I did all kind of business.clothes,selling of eyes,pure water,shoes,Recharge card.etc.but that God for where God has place me.

I tell you I had a perfect social life while in school, I joined politics, Joined Rotaract, Was a Faculty Exco, I joined Frat, I smoked everywhere on campus, I sold mj by proxy, I didn't face SDC for once. Regrets: I didn't finish with 2:1 and I didn't date any girl on campus...

*being too young, inexperienced & naive to recognise the all round potentials in those two student doctors who adored me to high Heavens. Now they are both married and doing well. And to think a roommate to one of them warned me about this regret.

*not making enough friends. Not socialising enough. I had a boring & routine lifestyle. It's affecting me now because I still lead a boring, routine/triangular lifestyle. Even till today, I have not seen the insides of a club (it's still in my social bucket list though).
