A Nigerian drug dealer who bragged about his criminal lifestyle in a music video he made has been jailed in the United Kingdom.

Adetokunbo Ajibola, was sentenced to a total of five years’ imprisonment at Harrow Crown Court on Friday, 1 March after admitting to possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of criminal property at a previous hearing.

Officers from Brent Gangs Unit executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at a multi-occupancy address in Sneyd Road, Willesden NW2 on 25 April.

As officers forced entry to the premises, Ajibola jumped from a second floor window and attempted to escape from officers. He was detained a short distance away on the roof of a garage and arrested.

The rooms at the address were searched. The second floor was described in court as a “drug preparation factory”. Officers found what was later confirmed as 241 grams of high-purity cocaine and mixing agents, along with nearly 60 grams of crack cocaine, and 240 grams of cannabis. The potential street value of the drugs was in excess of £30,000.

After being charged, he first appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 26 April 2018. He pleaded guilty to the offences at Harrow Crown Court on 27 June 2018.

This is what we call a working system were criminals are easily spotted, tracked, investigated and jailed if no credible source or explanation is provided for their wealth.

Here in Nigeria it is not only easy to steal this money but also easy to spend the stolen money. To make matter worse they brag about it and throw it to our faces with their flamboyant lifestyle and lavish spending.

They rant on our media and uses our defence forces, they drive exotic cars and buy expensive houses, electronics and gadget although our investigative and criminal department see the red light, they turn a blind eye and in many cases did nothing.

The worst of everything is that they carry our money out of the country which is called Capital flight. yet EFCC, POLICE AND DSS don't do anything meaningful. Instead they will be chanting "innocence until proven guilty", what more information do you need in probing a man who is extremely wealthy with 50 house and 70 cars without enough company and business to show for it. A man is a billionaire and just run only a church with no company or what so ever and yet it sends no signal.
Corrupt politicians, Drug dealer, yahoo boys, ritualist, pímp dealers, human traffickers spend their money with all comfort and without confrontation. And even musician and actors/actresses with dead careers keep buying coffins in clubs and yet no bell rings in our head.

Our youth will still defend this hooligans and thieves by saying "Nah God don bless him hustle, enjoy man". No one dear confront them because the typical society will tell you "wetin consign you, Stop hating".
A typical Nairaland over grown baby will rush to comment by calling out names and tribe. This is because their skulls have grown too thick for any form of reasoning to pierce into their brains for them to notice that this news means our security systems in Nigeria is in shambles.

In conclusion, Nigeria is now a home for thieves where they steal fantastically and spend with comfort.
