No wonder the international bodies didn't support atiku, they won't profit if Nigeria is doing great and atiku is economic friendly.

Nigeria was the fastest growing economy till Obama removed Jonathan for usa selfish interest.

Such unadulterated drivel and ignorance. So, Obama removed Jonathan?

Wait, lemme guess, Donald Trump blocked Atiku from winning the elections, right? Lol.

They have been predicting Nigeria's breakup for a while now and yet we are still standing

These Western powers are using psychology to destabilise us and make us feel it's so bad then we too out of ignorance will.act accordingly .

Not all want to migrate. Many of us are okay living here. Once they break you psychologucally, they have won .

They have many issues that only if you live there you realize that it's not as great as they paint it.

We should focus on education , building infrastructures and not hate each other like is displayed here on Nairaland.

That free money that our looters used to bring to their country has dried up and so they are feeling the pangs.

We are only as inferior as we allow them to make us feel.

Run away if you like, they will never rate you as 1st class.

For those of us who will stay , we will be the pillars that will build and unify Nigeria.

Just don't believe all he negatives they write about us . It's all a ploy to divide us.

Nigeria is great and will remain greater in Jesus name.

Are you daft?

Oil is no longer the real deal, it is now agriculture and infrastructural development, that is the direction this government is seen going. No worries, Nigeria will not experience the Venezuela theory, but will outshine its predicted woes by those not in support of the present government in place. We shall overcome

They have started with their doom saying again. They talked about this 4 years ago, and they were proved wrong. At least we were able to survive and manage it well. This would have happened assuming ND avengers keep causing havoc but it was also well managed. The structures of Nigeria and Venezuela are different. venezuela is under sanction, nigeria, no. Venezuela has post unrest situations, not in nigeria, there is fractional supports of opposition government from surrounding countries including america but in nigeria, no opposition or parallel government as at now, and everyone has moved on except atiku and pdp that likely go to court. The structures on ground are not the same.

Yes, poor economic policies by buhari led government may allow some foreign investors to be skeptical about investing in nigeria but is not as bad as they foresee. The main problem is that many free and stolen money that many advanced countries like UK see from Nigerian government in the past has drastically reduced. They depend on those money to grow their own economy and now no free corrupt money while the one they are protecting are been put under pressure to be recovered. They should face their brexit wahala and leave us alone until things stabilize.

You made my day, thanks!

It's quite amazing how Nigeria threw aspirants directly involved in Nigerian industries and businesses under the bus for someone who just recently said "areafter 2023 I would go home and settle".... he didn't even care to tell Nigerians how we would get to 2023 in one piece.

Nigerians didnt choose the tyrants, he used his power and forced himself on Nigerians.

these analysis are some what biased, Nigeria has received fdi over the years, what good has it brought to the economy, these locusts just come milk our wealth and resources and go to another country to continue their economic plundering.

they re partly the cause of our poor governance.

Next level..... Anyone with sense organ will know Nigeria is heading for doom if things prevail, once again "You cannot lock your shop and be chasing criminals" there are ways and policies to make the criminals return back to you, GEJ introduced BVN and it worked effectively, this are technical and economical ideas Buhari lacks because you cannot give what u don't have, Imagine over 20million lost their jobs and all a government was to implement is a 10K trader moni LOL, Anyways since we refused to change the change, whatever we see regarding this present administration, was duly deserved wholeheartedly

Economic policies that would create even 1m job does not come from magic wand. The 20m job loss is estimated figure not actual fact, but we can believe that for now.

You seem to believe the lies of Nigeria being the largest producer of rice. If that was the whole truth,
1. Nigeria will also be among the largest exporter of rice
2. The price of rice would have gone down
3. The poverty rate would have reduced or at least we'll be getting to know rice farmers who are billionaires
4. We should know by now how many millions of hectares of land we are using for rice cultivation.

The four above would be concrete evidences not just empty statements.

Peace
Luckily for us, the revelation was made by the Director General, Africa Rice Center in benin Republic, Dr. Harold Roy-Macauley. It wasn’t by the Nigerian government.

I am also optimistic about the economic future under the Buhari government. The financial hemorrhaging has been reduced (not stopped). Infrastructural development is slowly picking up and we are likely to have a more friendly national assembly in the next 4 years

We are way off from the Venezuela model. I don't see Atiku and the political elite destroying our social and economic environment because of the questions for power. They have too much at stake.

This is obviously a paid article, Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa and Nigeria has exited recession for over a year now. the west are the greatest beneficiaries of corruption in Africa, ask yourself where all our embezzled funds end up.

Do you think the west don't know when embezzled money is entering their countries? of course they do but won't talk, to repatriate those money back to Africa is the problem, they will make it so difficult. That is why I love what Yahoo boys are doing to them.
